Nice little house. Stayed with our family as we checked our kid into college. It is close to all the important stuff (shopping, food, beach, parks). Very convenient.
My family really enjoyed staying at the charming cottage near Lake Watcom in Bellingham. The house was very clean very stylish and perfect for our group. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
6 ladies stayed the night here for a birthday getaway. The kitchen/living room were great, beds comfortable. Bathroom was very nicely remodeled.
It’s very close to both next door neighbors, just fyi. We enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful home with everything you need to enjoy a lovely stay. About a 10 minute drive from downtown Bellingham and close enough to grocery and other amenities. It's a nice quiet location and a wonderful place to relax. Would revisit.
We had a great stay at this beautiful home for my daughter's bachelorette party weekend. When we had a few questions, Bec got right back to us in short time. Quiet neighborhood - the neighbor, Cole, even assisted when we had a dead car battery!
The home is decorated beautifully!
The backyard was perfect for meals, relaxing and enjoying a quiet moment. The birds chirping in the morning was amazing! Close to town or anything you would need. Will definitely stay here again!
I have never submitted a negative review before but I feel I need to in this case. Like most others I rely on property reviews when choosing a vacation rental. The other reviews are outstanding but I'm left to wonder if they stayed in the same place. We rented the place for 5 days and were generally disappointed. This "cottage" is actually a double wide manufactured home shoehorned into a very small lot between very close neighbors. It's painted black, covered in cobwebs and has garbage and debris laying around the house. The front stairs are rotting/broken and have nails poking out. The garbage and recycling bins were over flowing when we arrived and were not emptied for several days. The owner was slow or non-responsive citing "issues with the VBRO platform". After receiving the code to the front door we never received any reply from Bec regarding the garbage or checkout instructions. The interior has low (7'5"?) ceilings and the pictures on VBRO were clearly taken with a fisheye lens making it look much larger than it really is. The cabinets and fixtures are IKEA grade and dated, the bath soap dispenser fell off the wall, and the sink cold water was barely a trickle. We used the hot tub once but had to wait some time after removing the top because it was 109 degrees. Four of us were in the tub around 8pm, talking in normal voices, when the neighbor yelled through the fence to KEEP IT DOWN!. We got out and never used the tub again.
