Sonnenhof Zella-Mehlis - apartment for 3-5 guests

The Sonnenhof is located on the highest inhabited place in the city of Zella-Mehlis - on the Zellaer Höh. Next to the guest house begins the Thuringian Forest with its beautiful hiking trails. The famous "Rennsteig" is close.

Apartment for max. 5 people:
This apartment suits 4 people in 2 sleeping rooms (double beds). It helds a bathroom with tub and toilet, hall and lounge. In the lounge there is a fully equipped kitchen, cushioned seating area, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and satellite TV.
The holiday flat also offers WIFI, a microwave, a radio and curtains.
There is space for a childrens bed in a sleeping room. If you wish a more comfortable option for the 5th person, please ask for the extra single room.

Single room:
The single room comes with its own bathroom, furniture and a TV. You can combine the single room with both apartments.
If you wish the extra single room with its own bathroom for the 5th person, please tell me in advance. This extra room costs another 20 € per night (payable on site).

We rent various games, mountain bikes and toboggans for free. Also badminton and balls.
You can park your bicycles and motorcycles in the garage. Free parking is available on the street opposite the house.
You can make yourself comfortable in the garden or have a barbecue. Or you can play with your children here.
Hiking, skiing, biking, horseback riding - there are many ways to enjoy the outdoors. Our friendly staff will help you organizing nice days in our area. It knows all the sights and can help you with hiking maps. The nearby mountain and hiking huts invite you to linger.
We offer no catering. There are three restaurants within walking distance. There is also a supermarket in 1 km distance - you can prepare your food in the appartment's fully equipped kitchens.

The train station is 600m away. All tranis in the direction of Erfurt, Würzburg or Schmalkalden stop here. At the train station are also stopping long distance coach services from Berlin, Leipzig, Hamburg, Hannover in the north and Nürnberg, München, Karlsruhe and Freiburg in the south.
There you can also find public local busses to Oberhof and Suhl.

Please note that there is a local tourism visitor's tax. Adults have to pay 2€ per night. Therefore you will receive the "Thüringer Wald Card" and the „Zella-Mehlis Card“ which provides you with discounts in the area.
