Adventure stay

It was a surprise—and a bit humorous— when we were instructed to meet at a dock to take a 2 minute boat taxi to the house where we rented a room. From there the the adventure began. For the low cost paid we were not surprised that the room was not luxury but it got us out of a pinch. This place has to be experienced because it is hard to explain. Any traveler wanting to get off the beaten path (literally) should journey here.

Cozy... the place had everything we needed.

The place was small yet cozy. We had all the things we needed to cook and clean up. The beds were okay. There was wifi and a tv for leisure. The lake was nice. It was fun taking the boat to and from the location. The owner was also very pleasant to work with. Come to this place if you want to experience a lifestyle of a native. Apparently not many people know about the big island. So it is very safe as well. The boat drivers are also very kind and provide tours of the island if you like.
