Charming Lake House with Dock

Come enjoy some 'down time' and 'recharge' at Lake Murray! Fish from our dock, paddle around in our canoe, or rent a jet ski or boat and get out on the water! Grill up your fresh catch on the deck and or sit back and relax on the screen porch overlooking the water and dock. Please note: This is a NON -Smoking - NO Pet house. PARTIES or EVENTS with invited guests are NOT ALLOWED.

This open floor plan home was built in 2007 and outfitted with all new furniture in 2010. NEW CARPET was installed in all bedrooms for 2017. The master suite is located upstairs and features a queen bed, a cedar lined dresser, satellite HDTV, Blu ray DVD, and a sitting area overlooking the lake. The master bath has tile floor, dual sinks, a soaker tub, separate shower, and a walk-in closet.

Down stairs you will find a high ceiling great room with hardwood floor connected to a dining area and full kitchen with an island bar. Above the gas log fireplace is a satellite HDTV (1080p) with Blu ray DVD and surround sound system. A comfy leather sofa and love seat with built in recliners will let you relax while enjoying a movie from our DVD selection.

The gathering height dining table will seat 8, and 5 more can sit at the kitchen bar.

Two down stairs bedrooms featuring a Queen and a double bed with trundle are connected with a 'Jack and Jill' full bath with double sinks.

Two sliding glass doors open from the great room on to the deck and screen porch with views of the shared dock and lake. A full laundry room and 1/2 bath complete the down stairs.

This house has a paved driveway off a paved street in a nice neighborhood. A well kept lawn with sprinkler system will have you going barefoot and relaxing as soon as you get out of the car!

Beautiful and well-equipped home, exactly as advertised! We enjoyed the beautiful lake views and peace and quiet of the location. Circle Diner was a great lunch location, Carter and Holmes Orchid growers gave us a private tour, and shopped til we dropped at Little Mountain Antique Mall. Love this property!

If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay on Lake Murray, this is it. Clean, well cared for, great living space and kitchen, and on the perfect cove off the main lake. Quiet water for swimming and easy access to the lake for more serious boating. Loved it and will be back!

Everything was great. The house is very nice and stocked with everything you need for cooking. The view is amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch taking in the view. This home on Lake Murray, SC was perfect for our stay. It is right on the lake with a great view. Home was nice and very comfortable. Close to Columbia, SC and other nice places to visit. Would definitely stay there again.

Fun times on Lake Murray

The house was very convenient to local stores and also close boat rides to marinas and lakeside restaurants like Taco Margarita’s and Martins Landing. The house itself was 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths with ample space for everyone to sleep and rest comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped. Having a dock on the property was great for our pontoon and the boat ramp was conveniently located right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoys water sports and we have friends with weekend or permanent homes in the near-by area. I am a relocated mid-westerner who has been in South Carolina over 30 years. When out-of-town family and guests come to visit, we wanted to provide a place to stay that was relaxing and not so intruding on our permanent home. We furnished and appointed this house as we would for our best friends. I know that you will enjoy staying here also!

Why they chose this property

Lake Murray is the closest major lake to our permanent home. The lake level is well maintained as compared to Lake Strom Thurmond (Clark's Hill). The house is located away from the congested traffic of down town Lexington, and away from the high density boating areas near the dam, yet we have easy access to town when needed.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the smooth waters of the many nearby coves for wake boarding and skiing. A public boat ramp and picnic area are also close. Dreher Island State Park is a short boat trip away.
