Laurent's Lodge is a brand-new contemporary vacation home nestled in the mountains of Western Maine. A four bedroom, three and half bath home furnished with stylish furnishings and fixtures. Just two miles to the heart of Bethel, offering shops, dining, museums, entertainment and the iconic Bethel Inn. The Bethel Inn features golf, cross country skiing, sleigh rides dining and more. Within 10 minuets of Sunday River ski resort, hiking, and public access to lakes and rivers for swimming, floating and fishing. The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is processed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking. Remember we are in the mountains of Maine and the snow we hope for all year can make travel more difficult. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.
~Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival: You’ll receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.
If you cancel within 30 days of arrival: You’ll be refunded for any portion of your stay that is rebooked by another guest.

Laurents Lodge offered the privacy, accommodation quality, proximity to skiing and the space we were looking for.Listing was accurate - kitchen and bath supplies exceeded expectations. Our group enjoyed several late season ski days. I highly recommend this property!

February Family and Frieds Trip

The house was clean and spacious. Perfect for 2 families of 5. Quick 12 minutes to Sunday River. It was great to have the separate hang out places for the kids/teens and adults.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the pictures are beautiful, up close the white couches are covered in odd stains :( the walls are nicked up :( the kitchen cabinets need a good wipe down. The place is spacious but I like my houses clean. I ended up vacuuming and scrubbing to have it feel someone comfortable:(

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is lovely and we enjoyed our stay. However, the oven was filthy and the showers upstairs were not clean on our arrival, which was extremely disappointing. The remainder of the house was clean. Also, we would suggest that you increase your Wi-Fi capability, since it is pretty slow. We had some problems with the upstairs TV freezing, but with your staff's assistance, we were able to rectify the problem. The router was locked up in the owner's storage area, which was really not a very good place to have it when there's really slow Wi-Fi. We would return to this house if the above-mentioned items were corrected.

Summer getaway

Upon arrival my husband and I had to clean the house as it had clearly been sitting for awhile. The deck was unusable, the furniture on the deck was torn, stained and had hornet nests in a couple of the chairs. The oven was dirty. There were dead bugs on the counters and floors. We truly believe the house was cleaned after the last tenants, but it clearly needed a refresh. The hot tub was also unusable, the cover was torn and lots of debris inside it. We ended up leaving a day early as the rest and relaxation we were looking for just didn’t happen. We have been renting off VRBO for close to 10 years and this is by far the worst experience we have had.

Upon arrival we tried calling the number listed to see if we could check in early since we had our 1 year old and 4 yr old. Never got a response. Still have not heard from the property manager after calling several times to try and figure out the heating system since the house was quite cold. The home in general was nice but not very clean besides the main living area. The entry way porch had bird poop allOver the railings, pine needles covered everything, which is natural for the area, but if you’re charging people to stay it takes two seconds to sweep it off. There was also wasps crawling out from below the front porch which I ended stomping on. The fridge was clean enough but the freezer section was not clean at all. There was dust all over the windows and the the shades were quite dirty as well. The basement had spiders crawling all over the place and several large spiders on the couch itself. The couch was dirty and food left uncleaned under the cushions. I ended up finding the vacuum and vacuuming the couch, spiders, and webs and spider nests on the floors and on the ceilings. The hot tub area was disgusting with empty beer cans, and empty wasp killer spray left out in the patio as well, with pine needles all over everything. The porch was was also covered in pine needles as well as the outdoor furniture which has big rips in the cushions and the recent rain had them soaked and unable to sit on. There was empty water bottles under our bed.
