Put throw pillows in the large wicker basket, on check out day, place the bedding(s) also in the basket PUT bed sheets wash IN COLD WATER IN machine.
on the last day place all rinsed dishes in the sink. We'll put them to wash in the dishwasher.
Wood stove is for ambiance only. Remote for candles is on the stove. Please don't adjust the radiant floor thermostat. Contact us and we'll adjust.

Taos Spring Break

This was an excellent launching pad for access to Taos amenities and Taos Ski Valley. Great accomodations and far superior if you are not a fan of hotels.

Casa Abuela was a wonderful place to stay for my famiy and i (4 total). Don't let the humble exterior fool you. The house is truly great. It had everything we needed (full kitchen set up), washer/dryer, comfortable beds and pullout sofa, good wi-fi, heated floors) and is located above a bluff so we had a commanding view of the mountains! My only advice is that being located a few minutes from town and off a dirt road, you may want to arrive before dark. Google Maps is correct, but since the house is in the back of the owner's house, it's better to have a bit of daylight left.
The exterior looks modest but inside is wonderful!

Warm & cozy stay

Warm & cozy stay! We loved our time at the casita. It was very well appointed, clean and updated yet still retained its adobe charm. There are stunning views of Taos from this place, and it is conveniently located to the attractions in the area. The pics/listing online are a bit outdated because there IS a microwave. The two bedrooms have mattresses of varying firmness so choose the one that works best for you.

Cute, quaint, cozy and comfortable!

We decided on this Vrbo this year instead of a local resort and it did not disappoint! Very cozy and comfortable. Felt like home but with great views! The house was very clean and loved all the updates. The host was very communicative and prompt. Will definitely be coming back next year 😊
