Welcome to Studio Apartment 5A at Paradise Point – a cozy escape with ocean views and everything you need for a relaxed Barbados stay.

Ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small groups of up to 3 guests, this studio features a full bed, a twin sofa bed, a private bathroom, a TV, air conditioning, a fan, and a kitchenette for preparing light meals. Step out onto your private balcony to take in the fresh island breeze.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and guests have shared access to the pool, rooftop deck, and cabana lounge areas.
The apartment is just a 12-minute walk to the beach and only a 6-minute drive from the vibrant nightlife, dining, and shopping in both St. Lawrence Gap and Oistins.

CHECK-IN IS AT 4PM AND CHECKOUT IS 11AM. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AN EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECKOUT REACH OUT TO US TO CHECK AVAILABILITY AND PRICING.
ONCE YOUR BOOKING IS CONFIRMED, A $100 USD SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE PREAUTHORIZED ON YOUR CARD ONE DAY BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL. TO AVOID THE CANCELLATION OF YOUR RESERVATION, ENSURE THAT THE CARD ON FILE CONTAINS SUFFICIENT FUNDS.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S EVE BOOKINGS REQUIRE A 7-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY.
ALL OTHER BANK HOLIDAY WEEKENDS HAVE A 4-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.

Paradise Point is a five-story property built into the cliffside of Maxwell Hill. Apartment 5A is located on Level 5—just one flight of stairs down from the top entrance or five flights up from the bottom. Due to the number of stairs, this unit is not suitable for guests with mobility concerns.
The balcony of this apartment is close to the public steps and the roadside, there is a potential for noise.

While stylish and thoughtfully designed, our apartments have compact footprints. Please refer to the floor plan in the photos to ensure it suits your needs.
We use solar-powered water heaters to stay eco-conscious. Hot water may be slightly cooler on overcast or rainy days.
For energy efficiency, our apartments feature wall-mounted window A/C units. These may not be as quiet or powerful as split or central systems. We kindly ask guests to use A/C only when present in the apartment, as electricity costs in Barbados are among the highest globally.
Renovations may occur on Levels 4 and 5 during weekdays between 10 AM and 6 PM. We do our best to keep disruptions minimal.
All guests have full access to the shared property spaces for the number of guests included in your reservation. You may bring up to 2 free visitors. Additional visitors can purchase a Visitor Pass for $25 USD per person (6 hours). The Poolside Party Cabana can be booked for $300 USD (up to 30 guests, 4 hours), or the Rooftop Deck for $200 USD (up to 15 guests, 5 hours), subject to availability.
We provide bath towels and bed sheets only. Please bring your own beach/pool towels. We do not offer comforters or blankets as the climate is warm year-round.
We are a low-budget property. While our spaces are clean and modern, furnishings are kept simple and affordable. The bed has a metal frame with an 8” hybrid mattress (comfortable, but may squeak). Linens, towels, and kitchen items are from budget suppliers like Amazon and Walmart.
We do not offer 24/7 housekeeping or maintenance. Staff are available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and are off on weekends except for emergencies.
If your gas tank runs out after hours, you can access a spare from the guest supply closet (Apt 2/Tiny House) or the housekeeping room (Apt 5A). Just message us for the code and a how-to video.
Our property operates with self-check-in via electronic code. Video surveillance is in place for your safety.
Expect to see local wildlife like monkeys, lizards, frogs, crickets, and birds—plus our friendly family cat, Ginger!
As Barbados is a developing island, occasional island-wide utility outages may occur, particularly during hurricane season. Being in a central tourist area usually means quicker service restoration, but please note we do not have backup generators, tanks, or satellite internet.
All payments on our website are charged in USD and may incur exchange fees depending on your bank.
In the event of any damages to the property that surpass the $100 USD security deposit, the card on file will be charged.
We are not liable for personal items left behind. Please double-check before checking out.
Do not leave personal belongings unattended in shared areas for security reasons.
We do not operate as a hotel. There is no bellboy, daily housekeeping, front desk, or concierge.
We use locally sourced pillows made from chipped foam in some of the apartments. They may be harder than you are used to in your home country.
In an effort to be environmentally friendly and reduce our laundry demands, we provide quick-dry grey bath towels for guest use. These towels are of a budget-friendly nature and may differ from the plush, luxury styles you may be accustomed to. If you feel you may not be comfortable with this, we recommend bringing along your own towels for your stay.

I’m Shona, and this is my husband Rudo and our kids Kayla and Kaia. Together we own and run this little boutique hotel in the making!
Opening a stylish yet budget and eco-friendly boutique hotel has been a lifelong dream of mine. So in 2015 when we moved back to Barbados (Rudo’s Birthplace), we went on a mission to make this dream a reality.
We sacrificed and moved in with our parents to cut expenses and started saving up and looking for the right property.
In 2019 we purchased 19 Moravian Gardens/19 Maxwell Hill Road, a rundown 11-unit / 5-story oceanview apartment complex in Maxwell, Christ Church, and started doing a massive redevelopment, drawing on my experience as an Architect, Rudos experience as a Financial Advisor, and our joint love of unique budget-friendly travel.
We want to give you everything we look for in travel accommodations — safe central location, nice views, unique & comfortable interiors, and prices that won't break the bank ;-)
Right now only 7 of 11 apartments are finished and listed for rent on VRBO, and we are working hard to finish renovating the rest of the building. We know we have a LONG way to go, to truly make Paradise Point Barbados a boutique hotel, but we hope that you book with us and enjoy all that our holiday apartments have to offer — style, comfort, central location, oceanviews, pool access and GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!
