The 90 m2 apartment 'STARLIGHT' on the first floor (listed here) offers 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a cool open plan kitchen that leads into a comfortable living area with a nice verandah with stunning views of the south coast.
There is also a sofa bed in the living room.

Wonderful Apartment

We were lucky enough to stay for 6 weeks and this apartment is wonderful. We were in the upstairs one bedroom apartment with a fabulous big veranda and a great view down to the sea. My husband was working for a few weeks and the veranda was a lovely place for me to sit and relax. The overall size of the apartment is very large and there is plenty of space inside and out. The washing machine is excellent and we used this a lot as everything dries very quickly ( the washing line is out on the veranda and can easily be put up and down when not in use. The apartment is very well equipped and the bathroom has plenty of shelf space and a magnifying mirror. There is an excellent wifi connection. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed staying here and the price is extremely reasonable. We will definitely return here for another long stay!

Home from home

The apartment has been beautifully decorated. The outside space is perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day on the beach! The kitchen is very well stocked with all equipment needed for self catering. There is a discount supermarket within 10 mins walk or 3 mins drive. It’s very popular so go as early as you can. What isn’t mentioned is that beach towels are not supplied so ensure you either bring some or are prepared to purchase some whilst there. If you need more than one bathroom towel per person, bring extra. The property manager Cyrus is absolutely brilliant. He is extremely friendly and he will do his very best to assist with any queries. There is a busy road right outside the property but we didn’t find this too much of a problem. There are wild cockerel’s wandering about that will let you know the sun is coming up so if you like a lie in, bring ear plugs!!! St Lawrence Gap is lovely and has lots of eating establishments at a range of prices. The beaches are stunning and there are many to choose from. I would return to this accommodation without a doubt.

Indoor/outdoor experience wonderful

Great Vista, garden & trees are beautiful, monkeys playing and the neighborhood feels very safe. Kitchen is well supplied with pots & pans, everything you need to stay comfortable in all areas of the place. 6 minute walk down to main road for buses or ZR's to take you everywhere. Beaches are close to walk. A good grocery store 12 minutes away. Enjoyable and relaxing!

Villa Sunlight in ‘Paradise’ (Barbados)

Albena s home is very spacious, bright and airy, with a beachy feel to it. I was very comfortable there for 4 weeks. Nice varandah where you can sit with a drink, and watch your laundry blow on the washing line in the lovely breeze. It’s a 6 minute walk down the road that leads to the local bus stop where you can travel around the island. Cyrus who manages the home is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying,there, if you choose not to stay in a touristy area.

Lovely apartment in a residential area of Top Rock, Barbados. Whole process very smooth, Albena very helpful and her local manager, Cyrus, was excellent. We stayed in apartment on the upper floor, with a good size main bedroom and large kitchen / dining lounge area together with a pleasant balcony with views to the sea. the gardens are well kept and have chairs and a table for sitting out. On our February visit the temperature was in the high twenties Centigrade, upper eighties F, but with the all round plantation blinds and breeze, the rooms stayed cool all day. Additionally, the bedroom had screens to keep bugs at bay and a ceiling fan for night time comfort. The property had access to cable TV and good broadband so connectivity wasn't a problem. It's 5-10 min walk to the main road, depending on your route, so it's easy to pick up a cab, public bus or (as we used most) the toot-toot private ZR buses. Once on an 11 ZR bus, you'll be in Oistins (fish fry) in about 5-10 mins), Dover beach (5-10 mins) or Bridgetown in 15-20 mins. There is a Discount supermarket locally (walk in 5-10 mins) which is reasonably priced and well stocked (even skimmed fresh milk (sometimes)), its open every day until about 10pm, except Sunday when it closes earlier (7pm?). It's not the quietest Villa, with the local wildlife etc., but that didn't bother us one bit. Just book and enjoy your stay.

Traumhafter Urlaub!!!!!!!!!!!

Wir waren im April für zwei Wochen mit Kind in diesem wunderschönen Apartment. Es ist so liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert das man sich einfach wohlfühlen muss!!! Große Wohnküche mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Schlafräume mit bequemem Bett, Moskitonetzen und Ventilatoren.Große Terrasse mit Blick über die Landschaft bis zum Meer. Alles total sauber und gepflegt. Toll angelegter Garten mit Palmen. Mitten im Wohngebiet von Christ Church. In der Nachbarschaft Hühner und Hähne, Katzen und Affen die herum flitzen. Den Verkehr auf der Straße hört man nach ein paar Tagen schon nicht mehr. Wer gerne zwischen Einheimischen leben will und nichts von Hotels und Touristen sehen will ist hier genau richtig. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Tag an wie zu Hause. Zum Strand ( Dover Beach)und Supermarkt (Popular)sind es ca. 10 - 15 min, zur Bushaltestelle 7 min zu Fuß. Auto ist nicht zwingend notwendig, aber von Vorteil (gerade mit Kindern). Auch wenn immer und überall Busse fahren. Wir waren froh Albena`s Auto gemietet zu haben, um somit unabhängig die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Wir konnten so unser "Strandgepäck" in den Kofferraum laden und an jedem Strand einfach anhalten. Der email Kontakt mit Albena vor dem Urlaub war super nett und hilfreich. Auf alle Fragen und Sorgen wusste sie Rat. Der Transfer vom Flughafen wurde von ihr organisiert. Und der Engel vor Ort namens PETRA hat sich während unserer Zeit perfekt um uns gekümmert, bei Fragen und Problemen war sie sofort mit ihrer herzlichen Art zur Stelle. Liebe Albena, liebe Petra, danke für einen unvergesslichen, traumhaften Urlaub auf Barbados in der Charming Villa Sunlight. Wenn wir könnten würden wir mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben...... Awesome Place

We were met at the airport by the lovely Petra who patiently waited for us following one of our cases going missing but eventually it showed up damaged. Petra kindly took us to a garage to get essentials as we arrived on a Sunday as most of the supermarkets were closed. When we arrived at the apartment we absolutely loved it, everything you could want was there, and we loved the creative way it has been decorated and everywhere was so very clean. The views from the balcony were lovely, you can see the sea, and in a nearby garden we saw monkeys playing. Maxwell Hill is a great place to stay, it’s a short walk to the absolutely beautiful Dover beach and going for a ride on a Jet Ski to see the turtles is a must. Maxwell Hill is not too far a walk to Oistins either. If you turn left out of the villa and walk along Maxwell Hill Road (which leads to Oistins) there is a great church which is well worth the visit called Revival Time Assembly; we were made to feel very welcome. The Miami beach at Oistins is lovely too and they have a special ‘Fish Fry’ night on a Friday which gets rammed but it is definitely worth going to. Maxwell Hill is only a short bus ride to Bridgetown where we spent the day at the Oval watching the cricket. Wherever we ate the food was gorgeous, the Bajans certainly know how to cook and as for the fish there are so many different types to choose from. An altogether most wonderful holiday. Would I stay at Villa Sunlight again? You bet!!!!! When Petra dropped us off the airport we felt so sad to be leaving. We are looking forward to going again soon. And thank you Petra for helping to make our first visit to Barbados very special and it’s a holiday we certainly won’t forget.

Echtes karibisches Flair, mitten unter Einheimischen, viel Platz und annehmbare Fußwege zu Stränden

Wer eine Wohnung will, die das Gefühl vermittelt, man wäre ein "Lokal", der ziehe bitte genau hier hin! Die "Villa Sunlight" liegt mondän auf einem Hügel, mitten im alteingesessenen Teil von Crist Church. Morgens kräht der Hahn, die Affen flitzen ab und zu über die angrenzenden Wiesen und Grundstücke, Katzen, Enten und Hühner kreuzen die Nebenwege und die Sicht übers Land ist grandios – dank der großen, einladenden Terrasse. Das Appartement bietet ein luftiges, geräumiges, typisch karibisches Ambiente und ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. 12 Minuten Fußweg zum ersten Strand (Dover Beach) machen selbst einen Mietwagen unnötig. Von der Hauptstraße aus, die man nach 6 Minuten Fußweg erreicht, geht's mit diversen Bussen in alle Richtungen – ob Rockley Beach, St Lawrence Gap, Oistins Fischmarkt usw. Debbie, die Managerin vor Ort, steht bei allen Fragen sofort hilfsbereit zur Seite.

Ein Traum wurde wahr!

Wir haben uns in Albena's Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen wurde organisiert, die Betreuung vor Ort durch Debbie war hervorragend. Ohne Mietwagen, kommt man gut zurecht, 5 Minuten zum Bus, 15 Minuten zum nächsten Strand. Wenn wieder Barbados, dann auf jeden Fall hier. Gruß Britta und Herbert

Very nice property. It was exactly what we expected.

Wow! This is what we said when we discovered our apartment. It was exactly what we had dreamed about. It took half an hour before we unpack our bags. Our first priority was to go to the terrace and look around. We could see the sea. Our apartment (first floor), (U.S. second floor ) Everything is clean and in excellent condition. No air conditioning, great. We don’t like air conditioning. There are enough shutters we can open. The apartment is located on Maxwell Hill road, so we have plenty of breezes to cool down the apartment. We never used the fan of our bedroom. Before I write a few more words, thank you Albena for responding quickly to our questions and also to give us excellent information’s for our stay. Again thank you Albena for organizing our pick up at the airport. Also, thank you very much to Albena's manager, Debbie. She helped us a lot during our stay. A few more words about our stay. We walked every day to Oistins (only 2.5 km one way from our apartment). Sometime we took the bus to come back. Buses are very convenient and not expensive at all. In Oistins, Miami Beach is a nice beach with shady areas. Also in Oistins there is the Friday Fish Evening where we eat local food in a nice ambiance. From the apartment it takes us 15 min to walk to Dover Beach, Maxwell beach. It is easy to catch a bus to Bridgetown (10 min walk to reach the bus stop on road H7). And before I forget, being early birds, we saw Green Monkeys every morning. They ran on the fences around the house and from here jumped in mangoes trees. I let you imagine what happen to the mangoes!!!!! In 6 words: our stay was not long enough (11 days, March 2016). We expect to come back and rent this apartment again. Michelle & Gilles

Super schöner Aufenthalt immer wieder gern

Hallo Es war wirklich ein super schöner Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung .Sehr schöne Lage es war alles da was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht (Toaster ,Kaffemaschine, Besteck, Shaker, Töpfe ,Pfannen etc. Man konnte Morgens schön auf der Terrasse sitzen und aufs Meer schauen . Ca 5-7 Minuten Fussweg zu den Bussen kommt mann überall auf dieser tollen Insel hin. Sehr sehr netter Kontakt mit Albena der Vermieterin. Kann nur sagen es hat uns SUPER gefallen. Transfer vom Flughafen wurde von Albena organisiert, hat alles prima geklappt. Roger ist echt ein cooler Typ. wir waren im Januar 2014 für 3 Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus. Es hat einfach nur alles gepasst. Die Wohnung war super eingerichtet, sehr sauber, die Lage und es war alles vorhanden was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Von Petra und Roger wurden wir sehr gut betreut. Traumurlaub!

Dieses Appartement ist einfach ein Traum! Hatten das Glück hier 3 Wochen unseren Urlaub mit unseren zwei kleinen Kinder verbringen zu dürfen! Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wüschen kann... Von einer Waschmaschine über Telefon, Internet , Kaffeemaschine bis hin zu einem Mixer für tolle Mangoshakes. Das Appartement befindet sich in einer ruhigen, sicheren und sehr, sehr liebenswerten Nachbarschaft! Das absolute Highlight war die großzügige Terasse mit Blick aufs Meer und einer tollen Hängematte zum Entspannen! Was diese Wohnung aber ganz besonders macht, ist die familiäre Atmosphäre! Man fühlt sich hier wie Zuhause und herzlich Willkommen! Wir können jedem diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen! Liebe Albena, Lieber Mike, Ihr habt unserem Urlaub eine ganz besondere, persönliche Note gegeben! Vielen lieben dank für eure tolle, einzigartige Gastfreundlichkeit!!!!
