Blue Skies is a 700 sf cabin located a short walk to Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure. Tucked in the trees on a small hillside, this quaint, single story two-bedroom two-bath log cabin will charm and delight you with its close-to-everything location. The super clean cabin accommodates 2-4 people comfortably, and includes a huge screened porch which is the perfect space for enjoying the mountain air or dining outside bug free.
The main bedroom has a custom made and very comfortable queen-size bed with a closet area and plenty of space to unpack and organize your travels. There’s cable TV and Wifi for streaming on the smart devices, and a full-length mirror in this bedroom. The main bathroom features a jetted tub for two which is perfect for soothing away a long hike or a day on the lake. It also has a shower and plenty of storage for your essentials.
The second bedroom features a trundle bed with two twin beds -- both with new comfy memory-foam mattresses. There's an on-suite bathroom and shower attached to this bedroom with plenty of storage to organize and unpack your suitcase and hang your belongings. Close the pocket door and enjoy reading a book from a bedside table, or watch your favorite program on the smart TV with DVD player.
The living, dining, and kitchen areas are a combined space with all the amenities to make your rustic log cabin adventures authentic. The kitchen has basic appliances plus a microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and plenty of cooking utensils and supplies. It’s a small space packed with everything you need to enjoy cabin life, but the real enjoyment is the large screened porch which extends off of the living room. There’s plenty of seating and dining space on this huge porch so why sit inside when you can enjoy sitting outside playing games, putting together a puzzle, watching the wildlife, listening to the birds, and viewing the natural scenery -- it is truly outdoor living at its best!
The single-story living space and easy paved parking area make this a convenient mountain escape. Both bedrooms have an attached bathroom and the mattresses and furniture are all new and comfy. There are 3 smart TVs in this house with DVD players and provided DVDs and games.
There's a gas grill just outside the main entrance with a covered porch and seating for relaxing while grilling.
Outside and down a set of steps, is a shared entertaining space at the giant gazebo where your family and friends can gather to play games or grill out with a gas or charcoal grill. There's also a huge firepit area to relax and maybe make s'mores – whatever your desire, there’s plenty of outdoor space for all.
Easily walk to the Flowering Bridge, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village. We are centrally located and just off the main road for quietness yet access to all the attractions in the area.
The parking for each cabin is paved but each cabin can only accommodate 2 vehicles.
We live on premises and maintain the landscape and gardens, along with any maintenance. Feel free to say hello and tell us where you are from and ask us if you need any guidance about the area - otherwise, we will leave you alone and hope you enjoy our beautiful rustic cabins and towns. This 1.5 acre property has 3 log cabins with plenty of privacy.
Our 4 cabins are located on a hill overlooking the famous Flowering Bridge of Lake Lure. The property features a large gazebo for entertaining with grills, heaters, firepits, and games. It's the perfect property compound for your family reunion, wedding parties, or gathering with friends.
4 or less people strictly enforced, and NO PETS in this cabin. Please note, there is no washer/dryer. If you do need laundry done, with a 24-hour notice and a laundry charge our management team can accommodate. Must be at least one adult 25 years or older to rent this cabin. Our cabins are perfect for families!
