Keeper's Cottage is a cozy one bedroom lakefront cottage with simply superb, awe inspiring views of Rumbling Bald and Shumont mountains. One of the oldest properties on Lake Lure, this charming cottage is very private. Centrally located on a family compound, two miles from downtown Lake Lure and 2 miles to Ingles Grocery. Our convenient location is quiet, but less than 1500 feet from the main highway. It is approximately 3 miles to Chimney Rock State Park and 9 miles to Rumbling Bald Resort.

The property comes with a king size bed and a pullout sleeper sofa to sleep a maximum of 4 people. The master bathroom has a romantic corner jacuzzi tub and shower combination, the second bathroom sports a delightful tile shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, range, dish washer, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, toaster, coffee pot and Keurig. There is gas grill on the porch for easy outdoor cooking. The cottage is approximately 972 square feet, with central heating and air and washer and dryer. Brand new Smart TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi is provided, as well. Linens and towels are provided, so just come as you are!

The outside covered porch area provides for a perfect dining experience while overlooking the lake and enjoying the majestic mountain views. There is a private dock for swimming and fishing with NEW STEPS for easier access. Excellent parking for 2 cars, close to cabin.
