Storybook Cottage in a Dream Location - Private Pool, Near Siesta & More

Rent my one-bedroom, one-bath completely furnished historic guest cottage and feel instantly at home. Enjoy waking up to the sounds of tropical birds. Read the Sunday paper over a cup of coffee or tea in the sunny private courtyard. Take a morning walk down to the water and watch the fish jump.

The 750 square foot cottage is perfect for the single traveler or snowbird couple. There are no steep stairs to climb or elevators to take. Park your car(s) in the private guest drive.

This is a completely non-smoking property. Smoking inside or out is NOT allowed.

Well-behaved pets are generally welcome with advance permission.


Lots of things available for use: beach chairs, beach umbrella, gas grill, charcoal grill, pool floats, lawn furniture, beach towels, coolers. If there's something special you need, just ask your neighbor (Me!) and I'll see what I can do.

I'm in the customer service / dream vacation business, so I've tried to think of all the little things that will make you want to come back to stay year after year after year.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Jane’s cottage was beautiful, cozy, and filled with thoughtful little touches that truly made us feel at home. Everything was perfect, and Jane was an amazing host. We had a wonderful birthday getaway and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we wish we never had to leave. Jane was an amazing host and was very responsive to any questions we had. The cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was the perfect getaway place for two.

Wonderful cottage!

Cozy darling cottage very close to many waterfront restaurants & to beautiful Siesta Key & Venice Beaches. Jane, the owner is very kind & helpful. There is a private pool as well. I highly recommend a stay here!

What an awesome experience we had renting with Jane! The cottage was perfect for our needs AND it had everything that we wanted and/or needed. Jane was very helpful with suggestions and she had everything that we forgot that we would need! Having chairs, an umbrella, cooler, etc there for us to use made beach trips SO much easier and less stressful!! The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, and basically close to everything we were looking to do. Minutes from multiple beaches, restaurants, stores, etc. From taking a morning stroll to the boat launch and having breakfast outside on the patio to a quiet night's sleep, it was perfect for us. Now that we are on the sleep topic, the bed was SO COMFY!!! I haven't slept that well in ages!! Thank you so much for making our first trip there such a great experience!! We can't wait to come back!

This is a lovely cottage, the owner thought of everything! You also have your very own pool. Very private location and the Eagles were a plus we got watch them everyday from the top of very tall Pine Tree on the property.

Cute Hideaway for a Couple

Private apartment in a very convenient yet private location. Unit was very well equipped- tons of towels and even enough toilet paper for our 8 day stay! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning and the fans kept the whole apartment very comfortable.

Great house!

Storybook Cottage Vacation

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was private, clean and the swimming pool was wonderful. Jane was a great hostess. I stayed here with my dog and we went to the local dog park and wandered down the street to the park/river at the end of the street. Everyone I ran into was very friendly. It was a great, relaxing vacation.

Beach Getaway

Jane's cottage was just as described. She met us on arrival and gave us an overview of the rental and area. She was readily available if assistance was needed. The cottage was well equipped from the kitchen to the gear for the beach. It was the perfect location to visit Gulf Beaches and access to a variety of stores/businesses. We enjoyed our stay!

This little cottage was adorable and very comfortable for myself and my husband. We stayed a week and had everthing we needed. Jane has thought of everything and was very communicative. The location is perfect with a water entrance for our kayaks just down the road. Siesta and Lido Key are very close. Had a great time kayaking through the mangrove trees on Lido Key. We loved the pool and enjoyed it most every afternoon. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
