Host was wonderful, even reached out about a local event happening during our stay! The cabin was clean, had plenty of cooking items, and was wonderfully dog friendly. The fire pit, pool table, loft, etc. made the stay super fun. The area is so perfect for dogs, the walk around lake Laura and the dog park right by the ski resort were great.
Property is comfortable and has plenty of games and things to keep kids busy. Enjoyed going into Woodstock, hiking, and mountain biking.

Thank you!! Your group was extremely clean for the 7 day stay. It looks like you guys might have vacuumed and swept for us 😅
You're welcome back any time and we truly appreciate you taking care of our home as it were yours.
Happy 4th of July!!
We really enjoyed our stay. There was an issue with the fireplace and the owner was easy to contact and the issue was taken care of quickly. The house is a little dated, but everything was very clean. Beds are comfortable and the family room was perfect to accommodate everyone. We enjoyed exploring the area, as well.
Very close to a variety of great wineries. The neighborhood was very nice. The kitchen is well stocked, even had a second gas bottle for the grill. Nice outdoor seating and options especially with the rainy weather this past week. Recommendations would be to update the online pictures and include the bathrooms and to recommend guests bring bottled water as the hard water was difficult to drink.

Hi,
Thanks for staying with us and having a fabulous 7 nights in Bryce. We actually have 2 extra propane tanks and always keep the kitchen super stocked. We wish we could control the water but we use city water and love our limestone and dolomite Shenandoah Valley mountains. The valley is famous for its karst topography (sinkholes, caves, springs — like Luray Caverns where your party had visited). Water there often contains high levels of calcium and magnesium, making it naturally hard. The Blue Ridge Mountains right next to the valley have more granite and metamorphic rocks, so water from those slopes can be softer, but once it seeps into the valley’s limestone aquifers, it tends to pick up hardness.
Kind regards
Boris
The game room was a big sell for our family. Decks from front to back offered all kinds of mobility for people and pets. Plenty of room for all, yet still cozy.

Needs a little updating. We had to clean the table and chairs on the deck to be able to sit outside.

Hi,
So sorry to hear about the decks, the leaves fall a lot since you are sourpunded by nature and the yard has about 1000 trees. We will keep this in mind and try to figure out furniture covers or something.
Thank you for your suggestion and glad everything else went well as mentioned in your messages.
We are 4 couples who have known each other for 30+ years. The house was perfect for entertainment and sitting together and talking. We had a great time and the house worked well for us. The game room, the porches and gathering areas were outstanding.

We chose this property because of all the included amenities and the huge amount of sleeping space. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We used just about every room in this place from playing pool, sitting outside and relaxing in the living room! I would absolutely recommend this place to others. The host was also extremely responsive and helpful to any questions or issues we had.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Bearly Behavin’. It was beautiful, quiet, and restful. Just what we needed for our somber event and much needed family time.
We found the venue overall perfect for what we were looking for to accommodate everyone’s need for space. There were a few MINOR inconveniences for us. But they in no way took away from our stay. Again we had a FABULOUS time! Our grandchildren after seeing a video of the place are begging us to bring them! 🤗
Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for staying at our cabin. We have since fixed the minor inconveniences.
We found the venue overall perfect for what we were looking for to accommodate everyone’s need for space.
There were some things we found that might need your attention:
the ice maker seems to be very inconsistent in whether it works or not. We had ice when we got there but once we used that ice up, it could not make ice fast enough. Ice maker in freezer has been checked and works fine.
Garbage can lid was not working. We tried to fix it but were unsuccessful. We used the can without the lid. We did put lid back before leaving. You used a 2nd backup trashcan in the kitchen closet. We have a 2k trash compactor that we try to encourage our guests to use and save on trash bags and minimizing the trash.
Grills: The smoker (which we were excited to use) didn’t work. We suspected the coil is not working. We have taken the Smoker away from the cabin, the Smoker did not there but had a not that it was out of service till it gets fixed and we had not advertised Smoker on our profile so nobody gets the expectation that there is one there but the 2 grills that we do advertise. The propane grill is new from this year.
Basement - the games were AWESOME and a favorite!! the slot machine seemed to be not working - every time we plugged it in it made a loud noise and it didnt take any coins. This has been checked. The reset button was not pressed and makes the sound go away.
Fire pit - two broken chairs so we ended up not using the fire pit. Apologies, 2 chairs are loose and we have 2 other chairs and 2 large benches around the fire that can seat around 8 or 9 people. You were still welcome to use the firepit and we have since removed the 2 other loose chairs.
Recommendation - brighter lighting through the house. Thank you, we will keep this in mind and look some better light bulbs perhaps daylight bulbs vs warm white.
Appreciate your insight and your group is always welcome back.
Cheers,
Boris :)
We really enjoyed our stay this summer. The home has plenty of room to spread out and is well stocked with essentials and plenty of extras too. We loved the popcorn machine and the firepit/hammock the best. The host was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. The living room was spacious and there was room at the table for all 8 of us. We did have someone in a wheelchair in our party - the door is accessible and easy to get into. Some of the bedroom doors and hallways were a little narrow, but the large open space in the living room was wheelchair friendly. One of the bathrooms had an accessible shower as well. Overall a great stay and a wonderful time with family!
The house is exactly as represented in the photos. Dated, but clean and with a lot things to keep us entertained. Boris was very helpful in planning our trip. We had many family members, with many interests meeting us at his home coming from all over the US. Boris gave us recommendations to keep our days buse: hiking trails that are beautiful, challenging and great with dogs, fishing locations which are the best caves in the area. His home has lots of room with decks and a yard that are fenced in for dogs. We had 3 7-9 month old puppies. Having a safe space for them to run and play was great..We played pool, darts board games. We had a camp fire. BBQ and watched the fireworks in town. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook at home. This is overall a great place to stay and Boris is a wonderful host!We hope to see you again Boris!
I booked a long weekend with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. This cabin has so much goodness to it. I chose it primarily because of the amount of sleeping space, the wood fireplaces, and the nice dining room with windows looking out over the area (ideal for board gaming). We barely used the basement and all its fun goodies, but I wouldn't mind coming back sometime to give them a whirl. The loft is a nice space for reading and relaxing. The grill is large, and there are also an egg and an electric smoker to complement it. Space heaters in the guest rooms helped take off the unexpected chill that set in over the weekend. The host was extremely nice and responsive. I highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Boris
I always wanted an Airbnb vacation house and in 22' my dream came true. I travel a lot, 80+ countries and stay in Airbnbs around the world. Small 5-star business owner who know the importance of communication, reviews and reliability. Currently living in Alexandria Virginia for the past 28 years.
Why they chose this property
The more that we visit our cabin the more we fall in love with it. We love snowboarding winter and making s'mores on the fireplaces in the winter. We love biking and going to the lake in the summer. What is more to ask of? Oh, the many Vineyards and Breweries in the area. Many Caverns and parks nearby to explore as well.
What makes this property unique
I've never golfed in my life till we started coming to the cabin and the girlfriend never snowboarded. All the fire places and outdoor fire pits also made us in love and not having next door neighbors. There are two neighbors across the street but not next to us, this gives us plenty of privacy and peace.
