The Space:

Delicious Cabin sits on Apple Mountain, an open-concept cabin with two-story cathedral ceilings and a stone fireplace, filled with natural light and surrounded by woods.

The main level opens around the stone fireplace under two-story ceilings. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, with a KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix blender, waffle iron, and the cookware and bakeware to go with them.

The lower-level theater room has a 70-inch HD TV and a stack of games, an easy place for everyone to land after dinner.



🛏️ Rest



The cabin sleeps six across three bedrooms on three levels. Two queen bedrooms and a full bathroom sit on the main floor, and the primary suite upstairs has a full bathroom of its own. The loft holds a dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi at 400 to 550 Mbps, enough for video calls from the mountain.

Outside is the reason to stay put. A hammock hangs on the screened porch, and the yard holds a private hot tub, a fire pit, and a grill at the edge of the woods.

Apple Mountain puts some of the area’s best wineries and hiking trails within minutes, with Front Royal about 10 to 15 minutes away for dining and shopping.



Guest Access:

The entire cabin is yours across all three levels, including the screened porch, the hot tub, and the yard. Several storage closets and the garage stay locked and are not part of the rental. Self check-in with a smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule.



The Neighborhood:

Delicious Cabin sits on Apple Mountain, a community of full-time residents, vacation home owners, and short-term rentals. As you make your way to the property, you’ll venture on Granny Smith Road, Wealthy Road, Jonathan Road, and other streets that draw their names from apple orchard and grocery store selections circa 1975.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is needed for getting around the neighborhood and reaching nearby attractions, restaurants, and wineries. Front Royal is 10 to 15 minutes away, and the driveway holds three vehicles.

🚗 Vehicle Access & Parking



The property is reached on well-maintained paved roads. Standard 2WD is fine most of the year; during snow or ice, AWD or 4WD is recommended and occasionally required, and we’ll share access guidance ahead of any winter storm. The driveway accommodates up to three vehicles.



📶 Connectivity



High-speed WiFi, around 400 to 550 Mbps, supports streaming, remote work, and video calls. Cell service can be limited in the mountains, but WiFi calling keeps you connected. The home is equipped with smart TVs, and while standard cable is not available, guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts.



📷 Smart Home Technology



For security, motion-activated Ring doorbells at the front and side-deck entrances and a separate exterior camera monitor the driveway, deck, and backyard. No camera views the hot tub or any part of the interior.



🐕 Pet Policy



Up to two dogs are welcome per stay. Our pet fee is $75 per pet and is automatically added to your reservation total when pets are included in your search. Additional dogs may be considered case by case. Service animals are always welcome, and we appreciate advance notice so we can notify our cleaning team. In Virginia, emotional support animals are treated as pets and subject to the same policies and fees.

Traveling with little ones? A pack ’n play, full-size high chair, and children’s tableware are provided.

A washer and dryer are available for guest use, with detergent provided.

All bedding, linens, and quilts are freshly laundered between stays. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout, with fire extinguishers on each level, plus flashlights and lanterns for the rare mountain power outage.



🦌 Wildlife & Surroundings



Delicious Cabin is surrounded by nature, and it is common to see deer, rabbits, foxes, wild turkeys, and the occasional black bear. Please avoid leaving food, trash, or scented items outdoors, as these attract wildlife. While the home is serviced by a professional pest control company, occasional insects may make their way inside. Let us know if anything seems out of the ordinary.

While the setting feels spacious and peaceful, this is still a residential community, so we ask guests to be considerate of our neighbors, particularly when enjoying the porch and fire pit in the evening.



🧹 Property Care & Updates



We continually improve Delicious Cabin to enhance guest comfort, so furniture or décor may differ slightly from photos. During your stay, our landscaping, pest control, or hot tub care team may service the property as needed, and we will notify you in advance whenever possible. These visits are brief, exterior only, and do not require access inside the home.

Celebrating something? We offer curated packages, including flowers, champagne, décor, and other personal touches. Reach out after booking; advance notice is appreciated, but we’ll do our best with last-minute requests.

The hot tub is open year-round and serviced regularly by a professional team.



🔥 Fireplace & Grill



The indoor fireplace and the grill both run on propane supplied from the house tank. Outside, the built-in stone fireplace burns wood, with firewood provided.

We’re typically available by text and happy to answer questions before or during your stay. We take a hands-off approach so you can enjoy your privacy, but we’re responsive and glad to help if anything comes up.
