Renovated split level 5 bedroom home. Comfortable accommodations for at least 10 people with 3 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a twin day bed with twin trundle, all on high quality memory foam hybrid mattresses. The living room and kitchen are on the main level, with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs.
----- PLEASE BE ADVISED ---- access to all 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms require 7 steps up or down. This is not an ADA accessible home. Private residence on Highland Road just a short walk from campus and 7 parking spaces (2 covered) and a Level 2 EV charger as well!
------- Please note ------- there are exterior security cameras for liability/safety concerns. There are no interior cameras or recording devices of any kind inside the home. Exterior Security cameras are located:
- All driveway areas/street entrance
- Carport
- Fire pit area
- Each side gate
- Back porch
- Back Yard
- Front door
We have a Level 2 ChargePoint EV charger in the covered carport. The charger has a J-1772 connector and charges at 50 amps (roughly 12 kw/37 miles per hour). Any and all charging for guests staying in the home is included in the nightly rate of the stay.

My wife Lindsay and I enjoy hosting families/ groups of adult friends visiting Baton Rouge for weekends & holidays. We are readily available via phone, text, Whatsapp, or direct message through VRBO. Having this home as a short term rental enables us to bring our toddler daughters up to Baton Rouge to visit family several times a year.
Why they chose this property
This home has been in our family since it was built in 1972, and you can feel the love and joy that filled its rooms for decades. We recently renovated and added modern amenities for guests - and for our family when we visit!
What makes this property unique
The split level design creates space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Walking into the main level, you'll find a large living room with ample seating for 8 and a brand new 75" LG TV, along with the large retro (and fully functional and stocked) kitchen with dining table for 8.
Seven steps up from the living room, upstairs features the primary en suite king bedroom with private double vanity bath and stone shower; the office with twin daybed and trundle (and access to second floor deck overlooking vast backyard); another king bedroom; and a large hall bath with a stone shower, double vanity and large backlit LED mirror with defogging feature.
Seven steps down the stairs in the kitchen, you'll find a second living area with a 50" TV, comfortable lounging couches and chairs with books and games, and access to the back patio and large yard. Flanking the downstairs living room are one queen bedroom with a semi-en suite bath (can be closed off to the rest of downstairs if desired), and one king bedroom with two large closets.
All bathrooms feature stone showers, marble or quartz vanities with lots of storage and two have LED mirrors with defogging feature.
All bedrooms feature memory foam hybrid mattresses and soft sheets and bedding approved by even the pickiest sleepers in our family. Extra blankets are available in each closet.
The kitchen is stocked with a dual brew K cup/drip coffee maker with a variety of capsules and sweeteners, as well as everything you need to cook a gourmet meal or enjoy takeout at the dining table!
Outdoor areas include a table and chairs on the second floor balcony with string lights overlooking the spacious backyard, as well as multiple Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view.
Proximity to LSU is what makes this home so special - the LSU Tiger Trails bus stops right across the street, and Tiger Stadium is just a 20 minute walk through the beautiful oak filled campus.
This is an entire home rental, with no other accommodations on-site.
