This was a perfect place for our trip to Evansville to visit family. Everything we needed was very close. The house was roomy and everything was as expected. Our host was welcoming, helpful and ready to answer any questions. We would stay here again.
The property was cute and clean. We thought we saw double beds in one room, nonetheless, there was plenty of room for us. The owner was communicative. If we needed anything, I felt he was only a text away. We will definitely use this property for all of our business trips in Evansville.

Bad experience
From the first day onward there was no good communication between us and the host. The only info that i had to get in contact with host was via email. And they never responded back when we needed to get a hold of them. Finally the only thing i could do was find the phone number for customer service. The tried to call host and got no answer. So they gave me host phone number so i could try and call them myself. No answer. So i texted that number and finally got a response. But it was like it wasnt a real person..felt like i was commicating with someone that was managing a 100 homes. Also, the place was too warm inside and the thermostat was locked so it wasn't a comfortable stay. I feel like making the customers feel comfortable was not a priorty at all. The mattresses were hard as a brick. And the stairs going up to the bedroom and other bathroom were ridiculously steep, something that really should have been disclosed in the description. And the stairs going downstairs to the basement were also steep and scary looking so we didnt get to go downstairs to wash towels. We had to make do with a total of 6 towels for 4 people for 4 nights. I have to say it's the worst experience we've ever had at a vrbo, ever!
We enjoyed our stay in Evansville. The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We went to a couple museums, USS LST 325 ship, The Rietz house and the casino which are only a few minutes away from this house. The best thing was not getting back on the highway, you can get to everything by taking side streets that are not busy. If we are back in the area we will stay again.
