My daughter recently was married at The Wichita Wildflower Wedding Venue and her reception took place at The Medicine Park Music Hall. With a guest list of 300 I rented 4 Homes in Medicine Park for out out of town guests. This particular one was amazing and my Son and grandkids absolutely loved it. The owners had every detail perfect for a family. Excellent stay.
Some extended family and I stayed at Sanctuary House for a memorial weekend getaway in the mountains to celebrate my dad. The house was amazing, comfortable, and the scenery was awesome. Highly recommend Medicine Park, Wichita Mountains, and Sanctuary House.
What a great time we had! Girls weekend with 9 of us, 50+yrs old, we loved these accommodations! Nice spaces to spreadout but also large enough patio and tv/dining room for us all to get together!
Great beds, super clean house , clean bathrooms. Nice kitchen with all cooking amenities. Recommend bringing your bikes & fishing poles, nice hiking trails at the back of the property.
Walking distance to restaurants and river swim area
Games, TVs, vista's- tons of room for everyone to relax. Would stay again!
Our youngest son proposed to his girlfriend on top of mount Scott and 14 of us surprised them after they came down from the mountain!
10 of us stayed at the sanctuary! It was beautiful, felt so spacious and accommodated all of us so well! We didn’t want to leave! Plenty of things to do, close to downtown! We will be back!! Fantastic stay!
Amazing property, plenty of space and located very close to downtown medicine park. Spacious parking and great outside areas. Owners are amazing and have everything inside you would need for your stay. They even leave a note and some sweets for you and your group to eat. Best brownies ever.
Sanctuary House was absolutely wonderful! We had the best time! Tara was so good to work with! Any time we had questions, she would answer us right away. The house has everything you could possibly need, & it's in a great location for being close to explore the Medicine Park area. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!
We celebrated our son and daughter-in-law's Army graduation and family day here. It was perfect for both sides of the family to spend the day with our soldier's to relax, visit, play games. The owner was very accommodating to some of our needs and easy to communicate with. There was so much space for everyone to spread out or have their own space. The kids took a hike on one of the trails and we had dinner and walked around Medicine Park (which is adorable btw) The deer visited every night and slept right next to the back patio! Would definitely recomend this place it was perfect!!
This property was perfect to celebrate a bachelorette weekend in Medicine Park. With ample room and beds for a large group, everyone was comfortable and happy with the accommodations. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and bakeware, which was a must since our group cooked all meals at the house. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a comfortable, well-decorated, spacious place to stay while visiting the area.
This property is incredible! 14 of us in a friend group (7 adults, 7 kids) made a bunch of lasting memories here. The location is gorgeous, the house is huge and fully loaded with everything you could need, and it is within walking distance of a quaint downtown. Tara is so responsive and was there for every need we had. Would DEFINITELY book again :)
We had a great stay and loved how close it was to the little town and the lake. the house held our large group of cousins well and had a long table for us to play games on when we were home. Only issue we had was 107 degrees outside, so the third story was a little warm. Lots of fans there helped. I would definitelystay here again.
This house was amazing! The only thing I would suggest to owner is to put better light on address number or bigger sign. At night it was hard to see. Owners were great though. Made a difficult time not so difficult.
Thank you!!
We rented the cabin for a women’s weekend retreat for our women ministry. We loved the cabin. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was stairs to the bedrooms. We loved it! The views, the room, the amenities. The delicious brownies at our arrival! Thank you for your Sanctuary! It was awesome! We all agreed we would love to come back.
This was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed at quite a few! The owner really cares about the details and everything was thought through to make our stay as wonderful as possible! The house was so incredible and unique!!!!!! Just WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for bringing joy and light from Jesus to our family!
My son is a 2nd Lt stationed at Ft Sill. He proposed on Mt Scott and then returned to the beautiful Sanctuary House not expecting all the family and friends there. The house was perfect. Corn hole, darts, porches for visiting, couches for snuggling — and so many personal touches from the homeowner that were thoughtful and intentional. Especially the homemade brownies that awaited us…. We can’t wait to go back.
Three generations of our family enjoyed a long weekend in this lovely home. The layout worked well for us - large family room with plenty of seating, and bedrooms on 2nd and 3 including a bunk room that we used for the cousins. The home was clean and well-supplied. Communications with the owner were good. We were there on a perfect fall weekend. It was an easy walk into Medicine Park proper. There were more activities available than we had time for. Medicine Park is a quick drive from OKC. We all agreed we want to go back!
