The Knotty Cabin is definitely for relaxing and kicking back and simply not being in a hectic rush. Your husband was right it i can be a little more difficult to catch trout in colder weather! Schedule your next trip in the Spring, Summer or early Fall and I'll be sure to put your hubby on some trout. Thanks for staying with us.

Eddie and Jean, You are spot on regarding the lack of night light pollution. We hear so many comments from guests who've seldom had the chance to visit an area whereby they can take in the beauty of a dark night coupled with a starlit sky. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the custom-made furniture and found it not only visually appealing but comfortable and relaxing as well. Glad you had a chance to experience some of the activities and events in the area. Many of our guests are pleasantly surprised to learn just how much there is to see and do within a short driving distance. Rick, we are so glad you and Liz found our little piece of heaven at the Knotty Cabin to do your unwinding, relaxing and recharging. The waterfall at the bridge you spoke of is definitely a favorite among our guests. No doubt about it, with a Spring or Summer visit, the weather would be ideal to raise a few windows to take in the soothing and mesmerizing sounds of the falls and drift off into dreamland! So glad you got the opportunity to enjoy Mabry Mill, Chateau Morrisette Winery, the Blueridge Parkway and some of our area’s unique shops.
