The Carriage house was beautiful, cozy, and a great location. Travis was great to respond to any help we needed. The furniture and beds were the best we've experienced in all our years of staying in Bear Lake. We would definitely stay here again.

They were so welcoming and helpful. The views are gorgeous and the house is beautifully set up, with fun additions in some of the rooms. Location is great! We also accidentally left something of value behind and the owner went above and beyond with helping us retrieve it. A great location for a large group, family reunion and any experience.

Everything was perfect. It was very well kept and close to all Bear Lake Activities. Lots of nice amenities like a garage converted into a play area. The decor was well thought out and added to the experience. The hosts were responsive on any request. Lots of room for big families. Wonderful House for Multiple Families

This property is beautiful, clean, and spacious, with lots of private rooms/areas, as well as roomy group areas. We had six families share the space and feel both cozy and comfortable. The only complaint we had was the frequent lagging with the wifi while trying to use streaming services.

Our family loved this place.

Our family reunion of 40 members agreed: this was the perfect place for our gathering. Enough space each age group could could have their own activities without bothering any other group. Hosts handled the minor problems we experienced immediatlyand gracefully. Facility is close to lake and town. We teccomend it.

A hit for family reunions

The place was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. a quick drive down the road to the lake and milkshakes. we had a slight problem when the fridge went out and it took a few hours to get hold of the owner, but once we did, all was solved without the loss of food. would highly recommend. We will stay there again.

WAW Family Reunion 2023

This was an outstanding locaction for our family to gather. We had 33 who attended. There was plenty of room to gather, play and sleep. The kids enjoyed the play spaces outside and inside. Plenty of room for dining and food preparation and the garage provided an excellent place for our talent show and dance party. The bunk room with the climbing wall and rope swing was a hit!

Absolutely Perfect for Our Family Reunion!

We just wrapped up our stay at this incredible Bear Lake home with nearly 40 people, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and so thoughtfully arranged. The beds and bedding were high quality, the towels were great, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—and we loved having the bonus kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette in the rec room too!The rec room was a huge hit with all ages. Kids, teens, and adults all had a blast hanging out and playing there. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from the beach, Pickleville Playhouse, restaurants, and beautiful hiking trails. This home is perfect for large groups or family reunions, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-equipped, and beautiful place to stay at Bear Lake. We’re already hoping to come back!

Perfect crowd-pleasing property!

The place was very clean and well stocked. There were plenty of areas for different small groups of our family to congregate, as well as a large great room for all of us to eat dinner and be together. The rec room was better than we could have imagined, with a basketball hoop, little scooters and extra large pillow loungers. It was fun to open up the rec room barn doors to connect the grassy area to the indoor space while playing spike ball. Having 2 1/2 kitchens allowed each family to store all of their food easily. We would most definitely stay here again!

Hammond Family 20th reunion

The home was gorgeous. The pictures online don't do it justice because you can't see all the details that make it wonderful. There were 25 in our group and plenty of room to spread out. The 7 granddaughters loved the bunk room with the swing. We hardly ever saw them. I would HIGHLY recommended this home to anyone. It's amazing. Thank you for making our 20th annual Family Reunion such a huge success.

Great for Large Family Reunion

Perfect for our group of 32. Rec room was a huge hit with the kids and for group activities. Kitchen and pantry really well stocked. Loved the multiple kitchens and laundry facilities. Lots of parking and front porch was perfect for sitting. Beds were plentiful and comfy. Our only minor recommendations would be to add window coverings on the back patio door, kitchen and all open sleeping areas, and to add a stock of hangers. There were plentiful hooks in the closets but zero hangers in the house, and with our group doing family photos, hanging ironed clothes was tricky. Carriage house was great and we’d rent again.

Loved The Carriage House

The house accommodated our family perfectly. Most of the houses we were looking at had strange bedroom configurations with, for example, 3 queen beds per bed room which made no sense. The bunk rooms, ensuite rooms and other bathrooms were perfectly suited to our needs. Loved: Great views of the lake from the shaded front porch. Fun garage with indoor basketball. Rope swing and climbing wall in the bunk room. Large great room/kitchen with enough tables and chairs for everyone. Would highly recommend and will probably come back.

Host profile image
We love Bear Lake and spending time there with our family. Having grown up in the area and moved away, we have always wanted to "get back." We have built this home with large groups and family gatherings in mind. We know that having the right space can help create priceless memories. We wanted to be close to town, but not too close. We wanted groups to have, within one house, comfortable and private spaces as well as social and fun areas. We know your family or group will love it as much as we have! We now live in the area full time and can help plan your perfect group vacation.

Why they chose this property

This house was designed for large groups, with bunk rooms, play areas, and two kitchens. It is close to town, but far enough away to be very private. There is plenty of parking for boats and large groups.

What makes this property unique

Unique benefits of this house:

1. Large "Carriage House" rec/multi-purpose room that can accommodate large gatherings or activities. This is the "white barn-like section" of the home shown on the pictures. Basketball hoop and movie theater in this section.

2. Two car passes included to "Ideal Beach" resort and included amenities just a mile down the road.

3. Two full kitchens plus a kitchenette for large group meal prep. One large kitchen on the mail level, second kitchen in the lock-off section upstairs, and a kitchenette in the carriage house multipurpose room.

4. Easy paved road access, close to town and beach access.

5. Ample parking for large vehicles and boats.

6. Nice bedding and mattresses to ensure you sleep well.

7. Local full-time owners who can give recommendations and help if problems arise.

8. Drive your ATV's right from the house to access Hodges Canyon Trailhead.
