Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Fresh linens & towels are found in the primary bedroom closet. Remove bed sheets, soiled bath towels, & kitchen towels in the netted laundry bags found hanging in the laundry room.
Dispose of your trash in the large blue trash bin found off of the driveway. Bags must be tied. No loose items please.

The home is located on a nice quiet parcel tucked away from the main road. Family-friendly and plenty of kitchen utensils if you plan to bring groceries for cooking. Everything was clean and comfortable. Brenda was quick to reply to questions which I greatly appreciate! Would definitely stay at this lovely home again!

The house is fantastic! Spotlessly clean, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s in a great location too, and the yard is peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch each morning.

Girls' Getaway

We enjoyed our getaway at The Johnson Cottage. It was just far enough away to be peaceful, yet not too far away from Louisa, Mineral, and wineries to give us plenty to do. However, bring a star-link or hot spot if you want to be online. We would definitely visit this property again.

Beautiful, quiet spot

We were there for a nearby family gathering. This little ranch is just beautiful. In a quiet spot just far enough away to be relaxing without being so far away it's inconvenient. Hosts were wonderful and friendly and quick to respond to questions. 100% will rent this house again!

Lovely home. Well maintained. It is clear Brenda care about her guest. Her response to any questions was impressive. Comfortable beds. Outdoor space is relaxing. We stayed there to attend our daughter’s wedding at Avonlea Farms and couldn’t have asked for a better rental. Thank you Brenda for everything.

Very Nice

This was an overflow house for family that we didn’t have sleeping accommodations. They didn’t spend much time in the house but they thought it was very comfortable. The people sleeping in the primary bedroom would have liked sun blocking drapes tho. Said the morning sun was really bright. I would reserve this house again.

The Johnson Cottage is situated on 4 1/2 acres off a private, unpaved road on the country-side of Lake Anna. We chose this sliver of heaven because we love being in nature, amongst pine trees, fruit trees, and the serenity of everything country living has to offer.
