Amazing beach home only steps from the beach. This home boasts water views from every window and includes the sound of crashing surf and ocean breezes. Only steps to Mother's Beach, the well-known K.B.I.A (see link) and a short stroll to Gooch's Beach. Minutes to Kennebunkport, golf, tennis, and excellent restaurants. This home is summer & beach living at its finest.

The home consists of four bedrooms on the second floor: a queen-size master with en suite bath (shower only), two additional queen-size bedrooms, and a bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen & pantry have been renovated as well as bathrooms (2015 & 2016). Enjoy a screened-in porch as well as a sun room. A yard with beautiful gardens welcomes summer games and family fun.

The stay was really great, the house was a quick walk to Mothers Beach and it was nice to be able to hear the ocean at all hours. All appliances worked nicely and having the Apple tv devices in some of the rooms was a nice surprise. Lots of indoor games and beach toys for the kids as well. I'd rent at this property again!

Excellent rental!

The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable and included everything you’d need except for the expensive trash bags. We loved our stay in this house and the location in kennebunk was fantastic. Close to beaches and town.

My family had an enjoyable stay at this beach house. The close proximity to Mother's Beach was great; our only disappointment was it was covered with seaweed during our stay because of Hurricane Erin. Gooch's Beach is within walking distance as well, so we spent our time there. The house was cozy, well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and it had lots of areas to sit and hang out as a family. It was easy to relax and rewind during our stay. We would definitely go back!

Location was wonderful! Property was just as advertised, beautiful older house with touches of modern. The only thing, and I mean the only thing, missing was outdoor seating. I guess my family spends a lot of time outside when we are on vacation and we were missing an outdoor set to sit on and enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard. Would absolutely recommend in a heartbeat.

Family vacation

We had a memory making family vacation at this charming cottage. The house has had many updates, yet maintains its charm. The location is great for walking to the beach. Lisa was a pleasure to deal with and was highly responsive to my inquiries before and during our stay. I look forward to coming back and would highly recommend to anyone!

Perfect southern Maine getaway spot

House was exceptional and host as good as they come! We greatly appreciated having nice beds and the screened-in porch was perfect for those buggy nights when you still want to be outside enjoying the sound of ocean waves and salt air. Host went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect location

The house was in a perfect location for our family. We walked to KBIA every morning for our son’s swim lessons and spent countless hours at the playground. He was able to ride his bike in the surrounding neighborhoods and of course very short walk to the beach. The house has everything you need. Our favorite area was the screened in front porch where we spent all of our breakfasts and evenings enjoying the view and listening to the waves.

Perfect for our family

We have visited the Maine coast for the past four years with our adult children and young grandchildren. Each year we tried a different house in a different town. This is the first house that we ALL want to come back to. The house has everything you need, and a perfect location. There were games, bikes, lawn chairs, all of the linens, the best equipped kitchen, movies galore, and best of all - a comfortable homelike environment with beautiful furnishings. The location is perfect with small children - cross the street for Little Beach, or walk a block (during high tide) for Mother's Beach. Lisa was easily reached when I had a question. We couldn't have been happier with this rental.

My sister and I are the 4th generation to own this home. We spent part of our summers here since we were born. My great grand parents (North family) purchased this home after their home at Goose Rocks Beach was lost in the big fire in 1945. It is our special place. Although we travel far and wide, Kennebunk Beach is our True North.

Why they chose this property

This property has been lovingly maintained but not not overly updated. It has all the updated convinced while maintaining the integrity and charm of a Maine beach cottage. The large screened in porch is where many hours are spent listening to the waves, the faint cries of delight from children playing on the beach and talking into the wee hours. Many of our guests come with family, perfect for two and three generations (even four). We are very close to Mother's Beach which is perfect for children, and even closer to "little beach" which is more private. Down the road is Gooch's Beach where there is surfing and many more people. A perfect summer cottage!
