Thelma's Place is a cozy, three bedroom house, newly remodeled

Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. The home is situated on an acre lot with a stream running through the far end of the back lawn. It’s a perfect place to sit in the shade and relax by the babbling brook, or let your little ones enjoy splashing in the refreshing cool water. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs, are other nearby attractions.

We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Our only disappointments were the beds were uncomfortable and the couch springs in the corner were terrible. It was a little too close to the road for sleeping at night with the road noise.

We enjoyed the “homey” feel of the place, the open living space, the comfortable beds, the well stocked kitchen… pretty much everything about it. It was just as advertised… a beautiful home, on a really pretty property, and surprisingly quiet, considering the fairly busy road it’s on. We loved our stay and appreciate all the nice thing’s available. There was water, coffee, cookies and toys for my baby niece who loved playing with them. And she now has a new favorite book about a llama ! Very nice place. It was super clean !

Great place!

The house had all amenities and was exceptionally clean. There was a problem with the knob on the shower and the owner was there immediately to remedy the problem. The backyard was perfect for a fire and family time!
