Overall the stay was great! Clean, easy access to amenities, spacious, lots of sleeping accommodations…BUT a couple things1) I would highly recommend bringing your own drinking water and be very aware (which we were aware of the water being well sourced, due to the hot tub part in the cabin’s discription), but was unaware that the tap water (drinking water) would have such a strong and off-putting sulfur odor to it.2) Bring your own cooking spices and measuring devices. The cabnets were bare. No simple spices; such as salt and pepper and usable measuring cups/spoons are provided.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
It was a nice cabin but water was awful. We were not able to take shower because water was so stinky. Hot tub also had the same issue. Host was responsive and sent the folks during the day. He mentioned it happened once a while which sounded it happens every now and then. It ruined our stay of 2 day. Pool table was too old and haven't had all the sticks. However, cabin was close to all the attractions.
Cozy cabin! Was as pictured and easy to get to. One of our family members did not have four-wheel-drive and had trouble getting up the lane but other than that it was a pleasant stay!
Wonderful place to stay. They had everything we needed. The only downfall was the driveway. Some vehicles might not make it up. We would stay again. Close to everything.
Our entire family was thrilled with our stay in this cabin. It seems very new/clean, and we really appreciated how the main level was designed with plenty of seating/space for entertaining and family time. Highly recommend!
Every year my best friends “The Bubble” stay in Hocking Hills for the March Birthdays! This year was extra special as the weather was great so we got to spend lots of time outside! The house was great and very clean and accommodating. The wrap around porch was very nice and comfortable. Love the sizes of the bathroom.
This was an awesome place to meet up with friends. House has plenty of room and the large deck makes for a great place to hangout. Lots of beds and 3 bathrooms is a nice feature. Would definitely visit again
For our group this was the perfect place.
LOTS of seating which was much appreciated!
Water does smell like sulphur but tolerable (bring drinking water).
Beautiful lodge!!
Beautiful place. Could have been cleaned better, dusty and there’s mold in bathrooms and ceiling on wood. Could talk to host and communication was well and he was understanding and unaware of this situation. He now knows of the mold issue. It is nice and spacious, and beautiful property. Plenty of towels and wash cloths and toilet paper and bedding. Hot tub was nice. Fire pit was a nice area too! Nice location close to do things and hiking! Easy to get into the home, no issues there. Be careful when getting up the driveway, make sure you do have 4wheel drive (it was mentioned in listing). Bring your own drinking water (like mentioned in the descriptions) it’s well water, I’m use to that.
We had a great time!! Everything was clean and we had an issue with our coffeemaker which was addressed and fixed quickly. I would say bring your own drinking and cooking water which we did. There is no dishwasher so just bring disposable stuff if you don’t like washing dishes! But it’s a great place for a big group….we had a blast!!!
We needed a larger place with amenities to accommodate our larger group with 6 adults and 9 kiddos ranging from 4-17. This was the ticket with ample room for all adults (queen beds!), and plenty of space for the kids as well (wonderful bunks with twins over fulls!). The pool table, hot tub and fire ring kept us well entertained in between our excursions to the Hocking Hills caves and falls. Great stay!
Only 2 downsides as I saw which were the steep bumpy drive to the cabin and that the fire pit was up a hill behind the cabin. Otherwise excellent experience!
Overall the cabin was enjoyable. The only negative aspects were that the water smelled very sulfuric, and the futon in the loft was not comfortable for sleeping at all. Other than that. The cabin was well cleaned, spacious, and very enjoyable for me and my guests. We would return.
We loved our stay!! However I really wish it would have been stated in the listing of how rough getting up the driveway is! But we all got out and got our pushes and laughs in for sure. While coming with a grill there a very few supplies for it and only pepper available but understand due to us needing to bring our own ( just keep in mind if booking) overall, the beds are super comfortable and we loved every part of our stay. It greatly accommodated our party of 17!
This was a perfect secluded place to retreat. We did two days of hiking, and it was nice to come back and chill. Driveway is intense but makes for a great start to a great weekend. 16 of us with one on the couch in the living room and one on the sofa in the basement. Futon would be last resort. Definitely a weekend to remember.
The ceiling fan on the main floor was DISCUSSING!!!!!! Kitchen cabinets and drawers we're very difficult to open. When you pulled into the property theres 2 driveways. DO NOT GO TO THE LEFT, no place to turn around. It would really be nice to have a dishwasher. Very quiet place!
