We were on campus for a family wedding with four generations of alumni....very cool. It was a wonderful location to be able to sneak away from the crowds at the Inn. The only issue was heat the first night, but the owner did a nice job of getting a contractor their first thing the next day and it was resolved.
Only other suggestion I would make is to see if you can't have firewood available beyond what is available from the yard. Maybe add some to the porch that stays dry--the location is great for a weekend stay and the layout is wonderful for a large family.
highly recommend--with heat! Lol.
Ashley’s house was perfect for our needs! Several of our friends stayed here, and it was the perfect place for them to stay while also being a wonderful gathering point while so many of our friends and family were in Sewanee! Will definitely keep Ashley in mind in the future!
This house was a fantastic spot for our family of 10. The configuration of the upstairs forced us to do some rearranging of sleeping plans, but the amazing screened porch was our salvation as the weather turned wet when we arrived. The kitchen was very well outfitted and the location was perfect for strolling around campus.
We loved our stay in this beautiful Sewanee home. It is close to everything on campus, well-appointed, and the check-in and check-out process was simple. Ashley called a few days ahead of time to make sure we were all set and she responded quickly when we needed help with the internet. Our entire group had the best time catching up and spending time on the Domain. I recommend this house to anyone headed up to Sewanee.
