We met the owner's 3 years ago and really liked them so when we saw this cabin was available, we jumped on it. Renewed our friendship again while we were there. Great people. Beautiful place, awesome cabin.
No one answered the phone. When I got there, it was clearly being renovated and not ready to take on customers. Not a soul there. I booked it nearly two weeks out, and my getaway was a bust because I couldn't even get in. Why is it up to be booked when it is clearly not ready for customers. Ruined my holiday weekend getaway. Will not recommend.
Vivian, the property manager, was extremely attentive and communicative. When she offered to make us breakfast the next day, I did not think she was serious, but she did make us a lovely, plant based very yummy and filling breakfast! The room did not have coffee, nor was that included in breakfast, only tea products. So, if you are a heavy caffeine drinker, expect to bring your own grounds. Vivian lives on the property with two beautiful and rambunctious dogs who start off scared but warm up quickly. The room itself had great amenities including an infrared sauna, huge shower and a gas fire place that warmed the entire room.

No hot water in our cabin
Property needs some serious upgrades to the water system. The cabins share a hot water heater and it cannot keep up. Stayed here for our wedding weekend and had no hot water in our cabin the first night. The second night, there was no water pressure at all when we got back from our wedding. Took a video of this for proof. Really disappointing. The furnace didn't work either. Hosts apologized and did give a partial refund but communication was terrible when we were dealing with the problem. Would not recommend staying here.
nrecommend staying here.

Response from VrboOwner on 18 Oct, 2024
Hi, Amy, as for the hot water issue, I told you the hot water situation was a pure accident which never happened before. The guest in the next cabin turned off the tankless water heater by mistake. The tankless water heat is sufficient for a regular 3 bedrooms household so it is far more than enough for supplying hot water for two cabins. As for the issue of us not responding quickly enough, I also told you before confirming your booking that we won’t be able to have any in person service on Saturday because we will be in church. I am sorry things happened. I already offered you full refund and a free stay as soon as I heard you didn’t get hot water for the first night and it was your wedding night. I don’t know what else I can do. Very sorry .
Cabin is very cute but ultimately for only 2 people. I requested a VRBO for 4 people in my search engine and this cabin populated that it could accommodate 4 people. Luckily only 3 of us traveled and the owner reached out to me (which was very nice ) so we brought our blow up mattress. The cot that was provided would not have been comfortable for my 18 year old. I’m also grateful the owner communicated the sleeping arrangements but like I mentioned, this cabin should really be under the “2 person” search category and a description that a cot can be provided. A tv would be nice to have, for background noise or for winding down in the evenings. And a manual for the extravagant shower/jacuzzi should be provided. It was pretty interesting. The property manager was exceptionally helpful and accommodating and shared her contact information and was very responsive.
