This is a classic Tybee Beach House that is unfortunately become unique. It is a style that was prevalent on the island only a decade ago. Built around the turn of the century, this rustic home was built to capture the sea breezes with wrap around porches upstairs and down and multiple doors. In addition to the complete kitchen downstairs, there is a full kitchen on the porch upstairs which is perfect for boiling crabs and shrimp which are plentiful in the waters.
We are located at the preferred southern end of Tybee and have a have a walled in full back yard.

We had a great time at this house. There was plenty of room for our large party, and it was so convenient to the beach. The owner was great about communicating on any issues that came up and had great suggestions for restaurants and activities.
We loved this home so much! I love the older style of the home, it really gave it a cozy feel! We also all loved the porches and all of the space the house had to offer! The host promptly answered all messages and was very helpful! A few of the ceiling fans didn’t work, but once the temperature came down in the house, this wasn’t much of an issue. We would definitely stay here again!
The house and location exceeded our high expectations. Just a walk away from the beach and town, everything was accessible and the house accommodated all our needs. Two separate kitchens was perfect for our group, and the spacious backyard provided us an adequate hangout spot when not at the beach. Perfect spacing inside to have a movie night or have the whole group play games downstairs. I can't emphasize how great the location is, a 1 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the convenience store to get milk. Scott was very dependable and accessible the whole trip. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to get the greatest experience on Tybee Island.

We rented this property for a family vacation last year and loved it. We wanted to be in an original architecture Tybee house with plenty of room for our extended family to spread out in. The house is close to the beach and convenient to restaurants, clubs, and stores. The owner is an excellent landlord, local, and is quite reputable. We plan to rent the house again in the future and were very pleased. If you are looking for a place for a large family to spread out, want the old Tybee Island charm, a fenced in back yard, close to the beach this house is for you.

Great for families!
We just got back from a fabulous vacation on Tybee Island. This house was wonderful in so many ways. We had SEVEN children with us--aged 1,1,2,3,4,6,12. The rooms were spacious and cool for sleeping, and the ample shared living spaces were just what we needed. The wraparound porches made our week! Our angels ran around chasing each other while we sipped pina coladas and hoped none of them smacked another with a sand shovel. Delightful! The owner went above and beyond, loaning us his own baby's gear to make for a lovely stay. The beach could not have been better for us or the kids...a short stroll down a private road, then a massive tide pool every morning! Thanks for a great week in a dreamy spot.
The home was lovely, great place for us, my grandkids loved it. Walking distance for most anything you need. We loved it, my grandson said all the windows were, so Scott (the owner) could watch for the pirate ships to come! We loved it there, we didn’t have any trouble at all..
This house was perfect for us, ages ranged from 72 to 6. Downstairs was very accessible for the older folks while the younger crowd enjoyed the upstairs. That was also a bonus when the adults needed some space😄. House has some age to it, but has some great character updates and to me just made it all that more enjoyable. Would stay here again, no doubt!
What an unbelievable time for our family to get away and enjoy some beach time. Being on the south end of Tybee Island was perfect for great access to all the shops, restaurants, and beaches. Having the dedicated parking spot was so useful. We just parked the car and rented bikes for the week. Plenty of room to spread out in the house. You can not beat this house, especially being able to have coffee each morning in the sun on the wrap around porch. Don’t hesitate, just book this house.
We really appreciated the classic Tybee style and feel of the property. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great! Plenty of space for our family and friends!
Scott provided us with a clean house, and clearly communicated everything we needed to know. We had a great week, spending time in the backyard and at the beach (which was just down the road). Will definitely recommend this rental to our friends!

Old School Charm
We loved the house. Such old school charm and plenty of room. The ceiling to one of the downstairs bedroom leaked one night during a downpour, but quickly dried out. Great location to the beach, with a fantastic patch. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful historic home, full of character/charm (but rustic), perfect location on Tybee!
We had three families with young children and this house was PERFECT. It has so much charm and a great historic feel, but it is by no means fancy - it is rustic and we liked that. Relaxing on the porch overlooking the backyard was just so nice. The walled in backyard was perfect for the kids to run around without wandering too far (although the house is on the street, we just locked those doors and had no worries that the kids would wander into the street) and we all loved the upstairs and downstairs wraparound porches. It's a short walk to the beach and the southern tip of Tybee seems to be the nicest part. Short walk to shops/restaurants. We barely got in the car all week. The owner is very responsive by text. Nearby fort Pulaski was fun and the Monday farmer's market at the lighthouse was great. Kitchen could use better knives/pots/pans, a few mattresses/linens could be better, and they should put some stones between the outdoor shower and the house (otherwise feet get dirty again), but overall a wonderful place and we hope to return again!

Beach House
We had 3 generations to come together for a week at Tybee. Since the house only had 2 showers we rotated between the adults which made it awkward and long. The kids used the tubs but then it would leak to the bottom floor. When it rained the house leaked in several places included the front door and onto one of the beds. The bottom floor refrigerator did not keep items cold but cool. The owner did offer to replace it but we just wanted to let stay until we left. Even though we had our problems we enjoyed our time together and it will be remembered as lovely.

Porches were the star.
Coffee and conversation each morning was everyone's highlight of the visit. The house has character and was comfortable. The surfboard was a hit with the kids. We will stay here again.
