Hot tub was great, beds and rooms were comfortable. Host was great with quick responses and having snacks. Neighborhood was quiet. Will definitely consider staying again
It was a girls getaway and the location was perfect for easily getting to everything we wanted to see and do. The home was clean as was the hot tub which we very much enjoyed in the evening. Thank you Richard for your prompt responses to questions and for the delightful basket of snacks!
The property was as described, very clean, and nice treats and snacks, as well as water & a Dr. Pepper in the fridge, a little touch of Texas which I loveS The owners were very responsive with any questions I had. The neighborhood seems a little sketchy depending which way you’re coming in but we had no problems. The hot tub was great after long days outside.
It was very nice to arrive to the home with a platter of fruits waiting for us, very nice touch. In general, the everything in the house was good. The hot tub was a good thing to have in order to relax after being out and about.
The host was amazing. Communication, check in, welcome basket of snacks…. We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of bedding options for my family of 5. I brought two teenagers and a preteen as well as my spouse. We had the two queen beds but there were also 2 extra mattresses. We don’t have little ones anymore but I was impressed to see a pack and play with extra diapers and pull ups in the closet! What a thoughtful host. There was also an iron, hairdryer and shower necessities readily available. We’d definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed staying at Richard’s place for a few days while in town for a basketball tournament. It was easy to get to the sports center and the place was nice and cozy and accommodated our family well. We had snacks waiting when we arrived and the communication with the owner was great. We would stay here again.
We loved our stay at the Urban Chicken Relic! There was plenty of space for two of us and our pups. We had prompt and great communication from Richard. He was so generous to leave snacks for humans and pets! The location was very convenient, super easy to get downtown. We would stay again!
Awesome place for a San Antonio visit, enjoyed this property at a perfect tucked away location perfect for all sites in the city. Fenced property makes you feel secure and the modern renovation gives the home an updated feel. Hosts made check in and check out very easy as well
We loved it. House was perfect for what we needed. Only a short drive to the base and activities on the River Walk. Neighborhood seemed off at first but never felt unsafe and everyone we saw were friendly.

The property was as described. There is a public pool nearby but not on the property. The hottub was on the property and very relaxing. I did not get check-in info from the host prior to our check in so we did have to drive around for a while waiting to be able to get in. Host was not very promt with responses but did leave us snacks and a while befofDODtime.
After bouncing around a couple of different places in Texas, we were excited to land here for a couple of days and have some relaxing time in the hot tub. We did just that! We also did some touristy things like go to the Alamo and Riverwalk. The stay was great and host left some snacks for us which was a nice touch. The only thing we were a little thrown off about was that we were asked to wash towels before we left and I’ve never had to do that before at a Vrbo place. So it was a little tricky timing showers and laundry the morning of check out. Besides that, everything was great!
The stay at the home was wonderful! 8 out of 10. It’s in the perfect area although it looks sketchy at first. Close to stores, 18 minutes from seaworld and 10 minutes from downtown riverwalk just what we wanted! The house advises 6 people can fit but more comfortable for 4 or 5 people with the twin that is included especially if you’re taller. The hot tub was the best part the kids and adults loved it! There’s a nice huge backyard which our dog loved as well! The host greeted us with snacks and a birthday card that was a nice welcoming touch! I booked through RedsWorld travel agency! Whenever booking clients in the future I will always recommend this property thank you for the great hospitality and we will definitely rent again!
We stayed at Mr. Weinhold’s property for two nights at the end of July. The check-in process was the easiest I have ever experienced. The home has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and dining area and a living room. The kids loved the wi-fi while I enjoyed being able to watch the local news stations at night before bed. Our host had some goodies for us set out when we arrived and my wife and I got a kick out of the coffee blend the host provided- we’re from the Houston area which the blend was aptly named. Very nice touch! This home is in a residential neighborhood with quick access to the freeway system and also the trail system. Mission Road is nearby and explorers will love the quick access to the UNESCO recognized San Antonio Missions. Bike riders will love the quick access to the San Antonio River trail which runs from the Alamo (Mission Valero) all the way down to Mission Espada. Since we were in San Antonio for our daughter’s basketball tournament, we did have a slight snafu with the tournament time and location. Our host was gracious and accommodating when we had to make minor adjustments to our schedule. The home was perfect for the four of us and would not hesitate to stay again! Pros: quiet neighborhood; owner’s communication; location; washer and dryer. Minor inconveniences- not enough mirrors (according to my “house full of girls”); no pulls on cabinets/drawers in kitchen which hampered my discovery of a cutting board (used a paper plate instead).
