Penn State alumni restored this late 1800s, 3200 sq ft farmhouse. Located one mile to Penns Cave and 18 miles to Beaver Stadium, this property has plenty of space for your family and friends.
Upstairs has four bedrooms (one king and 3 queen), 3 bathrooms, and a sitting room spacious enough for an air mattress.
Downstairs open floor plan has a large kitchen with doors opening to the back patio.
This unique property is close to Penns and Elk creek. It's rural and private with large parking area.

Fabulous Farmhouse weekend

The Red Farmhouse Restored is absolutely beautiful inside and out! We really enjoyed our stay during a Penn State football weekend! The house is so cozy and we enjoyed having coffee sitting outside and enjoying the views. Jill and Bob were very responsive to any questions that we had. We are looking forward to booking our next trip to stay at this beautiful farmhouse!

PSU FB Weekend

Amazing home in a great location. No detail left unturned. Spacious home with plenty of area to move freely and not feel crowded. Will be our first choice in the future if available.

Stunning house!

Our stay at Red Farmhouse Restored was one of the best homes I have ever rented!!!! We went for a long weekend for PSU football with our extended family and this home surpassed all of our expectations. The home has all the amenities that you need, well cared for and has room for everyone inside and outside to just enjoy their stay. THANK YOU!!!!

Wonderful and cozy stay

We came up for the Penn State vs WVU game. The house is even more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. All of us were amazed at how gorgeous and cozy it was. Numerous times it was mentioned that this was the kind of house we’d all like to retire in. Jill and Bob were wonderful hosts. The fresh flowers in the house were great touch. There were 7 of us that stayed and there was plenty of space. We also had a 3 year old with us and house was great for him! We can’t wait to come back to stay… hopefully for longer!

Gem in Center PA

The home and property are amazing. We stayed for a Penn State football weekend; about 20-25 minutes from downtown State College. It worked out really well. We had two families (4 adults, 5 kids) and we plenty of space to spread out. The upstairs has 4 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms; absolutely great for a couple families. Downstairs has lots of space with two living rooms, large kitchen and dinning room with seating for 12. The outside is spectacular. Huge wrap around deck to enjoy the beautiful P.A. landscape. Outside is well appointed with yard games, grill, has table top fire pit and lots of seating. Backyard has two beautiful ponds… great for sitting by and relaxing, and huge fire pit with lots of seating. This a real gem in center P.A. The hosts were responsive and left clear notes and instructions for the house and property. I would definitely stay again.

Wow!

We walked in and said wow! The farmhouse is beautifully restored with a lot of attention to detail. It is a great place for family and friends to gather. Many extras we weren’t expecting. The hosts were very prompt answering any questions we had. If we ever need a place to stay in the area we would not hesitate to choose the farmhouse again and would recommend it to others.
