Nestled on 1.5 acres in the charming town of Idyllwild, the home offers both privacy and easy access to everything the village has to offer.

Wake up to sunlight pouring through floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating the living room and framing sweeping views of the mountain landscape and towering pine trees beyond. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, and deeply restorative — the kind of place where time slows down and creativity returns.

Despite the sense of seclusion, you’re just a five-minute drive from town and less than a mile from Idyllwild State Park, where miles of hiking trails wind through some of Southern California’s most beautiful wilderness.

Nice cabin. Perfect size for a couple.

Clear instructions, self check in, comfortable and clean. The dirt road could be an issue for some vehicles, but it’s only the immediate block. There’s pavement within about 100 yards in either direction. Cabin was pretty well stocked with the things you would expect, only exception a box of tissues would have been nice.

After getting married in 2019, we decided it was time to leave the city and move to Idyllwild. We are both artists, musicians, and nature lovers. We have a greenhouse and love making organic, paleo meals.

Why they chose this property

This property is unique, as it's one of the larger parcels in Idyllwild, so you have the feeling of seclusion and quiet when you are here. People come here to detox, heal, and be creative. This is the place that calls to you when it's time to make a change in your life, to disconnect from the things that don't work, and instead curl up with a book or canvas in the mountains.

What makes this property unique

This house has all the amenities of a larger house, without the price tag. It has a full bath, full kitchen, living room with a futon and a nice sized bedroom. There is a loft that can be used for storage if someone is intending on a longer stay. The sun that streams in through the living room windows baths the entire house in light, during the morning hours. The deck has two Adirondack chairs and is perfect for relaxing with coffee.
