Very secluded 350' of Lake Gogebic shorefront, with adorable cozy remodeled cabin for your enjoyment year round. New 50' pier with shore station. Full access to snowmobile and ATV trails. On East Shore RD, close to Bergland for gas and incidentals. Full internet and WiFi hook ups. Cabin comes with amenities. Full Cutlery set and all dishes and cookware supplied. All small appliances, two coffee makers, one full pot coffee maker and one Keurig Pod coffee maker, toaster and microwave available for use. Kitchen includes full size electric cooktop stove. Extra linens and towels supplied. Cabin is clean and ready for guests on arrival. Air conditioned for summer. Pole barn available to park sleds or ATVs. Within approximately 2 miles of the Root Cellar Bar and Restaurant.

The cabin was perfect for our UP Michigan vacation. It was very comfortable, well stocked, and has a beautiful view of Lake Gogebic. The location was great for the sights we wanted to see and there were plenty of options for dining near by. I would definitely recommend this cabin! A couple of pointers- the silverware is in the drawer in the kitchen table and bring chairs for sitting on the dock as the chairs onsite are to stay on the deck.

The hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our requests. We had a bathroom light go out and they changed it right away. it's a clean and quaint cabin right on the lake with easy access to snowmobile trails. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable. They provide everything you need for a week long stay. we'll be back.

Heartbroken and Devastated Choose this place for our 50th anniversary what a terrible experience and so unbelievably disappointing, today we should be looking back at our memories there and sadly we are just totally broken that you could be treated this way. Arrived Saturday , Tuesday we lost power to the bathroom could not use anything so dark as no window! Called just said she would contact her husband , Thursday morning still nothing from them called her again she said she talked with her husband he didn’t know what to do!! We said if you cannot fix this we can leave and expect a refund, she said oh no I’ll contact him again . We spoke with him he claimed it was a communication problem and that it was just a breaker and we resist it , that’s not true , told her it blew again in less than 1 hour , he got very upset with us about this and told us if we were that way to just pack our sh_t and get out ! We told him we expect a refund we got nothing ! We called VRBO that put in a claim they were absolutely no help said there was nothing they could do for us do unbelievable to be treated this way !!!

Guest checked in on June 20th for stay through June 27. On June 24th he contacted to say the lights in the bathroom had gone out. He stated that he found the breaker box and reset the breaker and the lights were back on. He wanted to inform us of what had happened. At this time the information was not interpreted as an emergency. The following day he called again to say the breaker was persistently tripping and when reset would only last a few minutes. I informed the guest that Mark would contact him to resolve the issue. At that time, Mark called the guest and offered to immediately come and evaluate and deal with the issue. Guest became belligerent on the phone and stated they expected a resolution immediately following the first phone call and was not interested having the issue resolved and were just going to pack up and leave, expecting a full refund. Mark apologized for the miscommunication and stated that he was willing to come and fix the issue but guest would not listen. Therefore Mark stated they could pack up and leave. Mark then went to the cabin and diagnosed the problem as a defective breaker. Issue completely resolved by replacing the breaker, which took approximately 15 minutes. We as the host did not initiate their departure. We attempted to resolve the issue during the stay so they could continue to enjoy their time. The guest voluntarily decided to pack up and leave. We make every attempt to provide our guests with a pleasurable experience.
