Description:
4 bedrooms, 3 full-bath home sleeps 10 people-MAX of 6 adults, (defined as over the age of 12 yrs due to the sizes of kids bunk beds).
The Sunset and Desert Oasis Suites-king beds and ensuite baths; third bedroom has XL twin bunk over queen bed, and fourth bedroom has two twin bunk beds (for children under 12 yrs).

House amenities include:
A/C, free hi-speed wireless internet, 2 refrigerators, washer/dryer, 5 Roku smart TV's with lots of games, firewood for the fireplace, and a private hot tub! 10 SHARC passes for FREE ACTIVITIES giving access to the Sunriver aquatic facility, tennis & pickleball, disk-golf and the private owners's boat launch! 5 adult cruiser bikes, 2 kids bikes (helmets not provided) and a ski/snowboard rack in the garage! All basic kitchen, bed/bath, hot tub and laundry supplies are provided. Comprehensive digital Guest Guidebook with booking confirmation.

The area:
Central Oregon is a visitors paradise! Mountains, rivers, lakes, volcanic history, starry nights...Come, relax and make memories in the fresh mountain air of Sunriver!! We are located on a quiet cul de sac and is close to all that Sunriver has to offer: 35 miles of paved Sunriver biking trails, SHARC aquatic facility, tennis/pickleball courts, Sunriver Village, public golf in Bend and La Pine, floating on the Deschutes River. Mt Bachelor is a quick 30 minute drive and our home (20 Whistler Lane) is a 5 minute walk to the Sunriver Marketplace for groceries or an ice cream.

Booking Rules: Minimum age of Primary Renter is 25 and MUST be present on the property for duration of the reservation. Occupants under age of 18 shall not be left unsupervised. No parties, events or loud music. NO SMOKING on our property (inside or outside) Sorry, we have a strict NO PET Policy and we do not make exceptions. Thank you! IMPORTANT: All Guests are REQUIRED to read, e-sign and return our Rental Agreement within 48 HRS of booking per our House Rules. Our property requires a $500 Security Deposit. A hold will be placed separately by the property 2 days prior to check-in. Thank you!

Important note: Our home resides in a noise-sensitive area, and we/the owners, participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of max occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. We have exterior and garage security cameras. This was the perfect extended family house for us! It has a great layout with the master at one end and another en-suite bedroom at the other end with the kids rooms. The kitchen was well-equipped and met our needs nicely. We are considering another stay here next year.

Great Sunriver getaway

Nice location in an easily-accessible corner of Sunriver. We have two teens and two adults and enjoyed using the bikes to get around (bring your own helmets, which are required for kids!). The house was clean and comfy and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, including some spices and staples. We appreciated the soccer ball, hot tub/swim towels, and the family games! Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic home base for family ski trip

Home was clean, well equipped and was able to accommodate 2 families comfortably. Check-in process was straightforward, we were provided with lots of information about the home, neighborhood and for the city of Bend. Hosts were lovely and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend this home and plan to return again.

When we arrived, the house was in perfect condition. Perfect layout had everything that we needed and more. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and the space that we had. The hot tub was just a perfect addition to our stay. The location was great thank you for the passes so we could go swimming, we also went sledding, went for walks. I do not have one complaint.

This is a fabulous Sunriver home with everything you could possibly need for a fun and relaxing vacation. The home is the most well stocked vacation home I've ever rented. Great location, easy check in and very responsive owners. We had an awesome time and would definitely rent again.

The location of this house at the end of a long lane on a loop is great for families with upper elementary kids. The 5 kids ages 9-12 that were in our party thought the long lane was plenty of freedom for before dinner bike riding without parents.House was very comfortable with lots of extra towels, dish towels, toilet paper and two full sets of cutlery and dishes which was great for our large party.House was nice and clean and ready upon arrivals. Host was communicative to the two questions we sent before arrival anc during our stay.

Pleased to meet you! We are your hosts, Dave and Lisa. We have been visiting Sunriver for over 40 years and purchased our 1st home in 2017. In 2020 we moved to Sunriver permanently from Portland, Oregon. Dave is retired from tech and Lisa works part time in aviation. In March of 2021, we purchased a second home, High Desert Escape Sunriver at 20 Whistler Lane, with the expressed purpose of providing opportunities for friends and families to come and experience Sunriver.

If your passion is the outdoors, sunshine and fresh air, then Sunriver is the perfect place to relax and enjoy so many favorite activities: Skiing, hiking, mountain biking and playing on the rivers and many lakes with our paddle boards. There are activities for everyone who visits here, from biking and tennis/pickleball, to outdoor music and many fun establishments to enjoy a great meal or a local brew. We are truly fortunate and hope to share this special place with all of you. We hope to hear from you soon!

What makes this property unique

Our home is the perfect location to relax between all of your adventures. Go biking and enjoy Sunriver's 35 miles of paved pathway; play at the Sunriver SHARC waterpark with the 10 passes we provide. Tennis/pickleball and public golf courses are nearby. The local Deschutes River for floating or fly fishing and Mt Bachelor for skiing. You will feel relaxed in our 1-level home that is perfect for families with small children or older generations (no stairs). Our home offers you a fully stocked kitchen with coffee, a selection of teas, cooking basics (flour, sugar, oil) and a lovely dining room with seating for 8-10. In summer our back deck is fully furnished with a large bbq, table with umbrella and patio style seating for gathering outdoors. All of our bedrooms have real beds (no foutons). Two king suites, (the Sunset and Desert Oasis suites), have full ensuites. The Lodge Queen room is bunk style with queen on bottom and XL twin on top. The kids will love the Crew Bunk room that features two bunk beds (total 4 beds). All of our linens and towels are 100% cotton and OEKO-TEX certified (sustainable/chemical free bedding). All of our bath/spa products are organic/vegan/cruelty free and either mildly scented or scent free for a silky, luxurious experience. During the chilly months, our gas-assist fireplace is ready for you with firewood and instructions provided, just waiting for you to curl up with a good book or warm beverage. We have many family friendly games and puzzles in the living room, and every room has a Roku tv for watching movies, shows and sports. Our home is uniquely situated in a quiet area of Sunriver, close to the north Sunriver Marketplace grocery store and gas station; Fort Rock Park for playing tennis, basketball, softball and playground equipment; public golf available in Bend or La Pine, and SHARC aquatics is just a bike ride away.
