Luxury apartment in Budapest, next to Margaret Bridge

Located in District 5, on Szent Istvan körut, right across from the Comedy Theater and just steps away from the river Danube and Margaret Island, our apartment is undoubtedly in the middle of everything: restaurants, cafes, shops, parks and points of interest, like Szent Istvan Basilica and the famous Hungarian Parliament. Very comfortable and hospitable, the apartment was recently renovated and exquisitely decorated. With its high ceilings and spacious rooms (over 100 square meters), the apartment has a very cozy and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you step in.

The apartment is not your regular 'bare floor - minimal furniture' tourist rental place that you usually find on the internet. It is very luxuriously furnished with antique furniture and oriental rugs, it has has Cable TV and High Speed Internet connection. It is composed of one big bedroom with a king size bed and, one small bedroom with a sofa bed that can sleep one person, a formal living room, a big hallway and a full size kitchen (fully equipped), and one bathroom. It is located on the second floor of a historical building (with elevator).

The location of the apartment is excellent, placing it in the very close proximity of many points of interest in Budapest, as well as an excellent transportation system: 2 minutes walk to the tram and bus station and about 5 minutes walk to the metro station and Nyugati pályaudvar (train station). Just move in and enjoy the beautiful sights of Budapest and the comfort that our place has to offer.

What a great place!

My Fiancee and I have lived here since November 2009, and we LOVE this apartment! The only reason we are leaving is due to a major consulting assignment back in the USA. The apartment is elegant and sophisticated, yet comfortable and incredibly central to everywhere in Budapest! It is old-world Europe in its charm. We are sorry to leave!

Four wonderful days in Budapest! Location is 5 minutes walking distance to Nyugati train station, 15 minutes to Parliament. We love to walk so being a little further away from center was ideal. Close to all public transportation which is easy to navigate. Apartment is large, clean and beautifully decorated. Building is secure. Host is not local but communication was never an issue.

PERFECT LOCATION

Back in September, 2012 I've spent two unforgettable weeks in Budapest and my enchantment with the city was to a great extent determined by this beautiful apartment. The location is great (you can't ask for better) and the place is very neat and clean making you feel so good that you don't want to leave. I stayed in other VRBO apartments before but for most of them the pictures look better than the reality. This one was a very good surprise. Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment

Great location, wonderful host, lovely apartment. Having both a washer and a dryer was a real luxury. I would definitely stay here again. One thing to note if that the main bedroom looks over a busy street, so there is some street noise. It is not overwhelming, but it is noticeable. That is not a complaint at all, but a guest that is very sensitive to noise while sleeping might want to know that.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment!

The location couldn't have been any better: right in the middle of everything, close to shops, attractions and all transportation. The apartment itself is very well appointed with dishwasher, washer/dryer unit, kitchen with all the necessary utensils, clean and beautifully decorated. We had such a great stay there and would return at any time. We love Budapest!

Experience Budapest Past and Present

This apartment perfectly combines the history of Budapest with the present vibrant city life. The apartment is a taste of an earlier time, as well as being well stocked, well maintained and very clean. And the location is excellent. Close to tourist sights like Parliament and several art nouveau buildings, but just minutes away by public transit to the opera, Liszt Academy and Vigado. Not to mention ruin pubs! I hope to return to Budapest and look forward to another stay here.

Gorgeous Place!

I travel extensively and have been in Budapest many times, but I think this is the best place that I ever rented. The location is excellent, very close to many attractions, public transportation and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is grandiose, sparkling clean and unlike many other places that I stayed in before it feels like a real home. The owners were very helpful too, I've received more useful tips and information than I hoped for. Thanks a lot!

Great apartment, highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for two weeks in September, 2006. We loved the the comfort, cleanness and the lovely atmosphere of the place. The apartment is very spectacular: high ceilings, huge rooms, gorgeous furniture and paintings . . . It is equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home and the location is absolutely one of the best in Budapest. It is close to absolutely everything. If we ever return to Budapest we will definitely stay there. I would recommend the place for people who enjoy a homy atmosphere on vacation and appreciate a quiet evening inside, listening to some good music.
