Across the street from the beach. you can hear the waves. This Apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen items, linens, towels, beach towels, and two beach chairs. Air Conditioning. (Access to shared free laundry) Restaurants and grocery stores nearby (Publix 1 mile). Beach access 5 minute (.3 miles) walk. Multiple public beach and River areas within a few miles and world class fishing is only 14 miles away at the Sebastian Inlet. WIFI, TVs with Roku (you can use the Roku to link most streaming accounts) in the living room and bedroom. Outside shared seating area with Peggys Beach House (vacation rental next apartment over. Apartment has parking for 1 car. 1 bedroom (king size bed) and 1 full bathroom. Apartment is the east unit of a 3-unit building. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests

Quiet Neighborhood with Thoughtful Amenities

Less than a mile from free beach-access parking lot; near an asphalt trail that's great for running/biking; very comfortable seating area and king bed (we slept very well!); includes everything you need plus nice extras, such as beach chairs and plenty of beach towels; lovely escape from the family during the holidays; would definitely stay again!

Great Place

Easy to access. Immaculately clean. Friendly host and manager. Everything you need inside (including sharp knives for food prep), great location right across from the beach. What more could you ask for?

Fabulous stay

What an amazing stay at Mermaid Beach House. Super clean and great location. We had a problem with the range which is out of control of anyone and Tim replaced it the next day. Now that's what you call fantastic customer service. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend you stay here!

Short Stay

Mermaid beach House is in a great location. Island living! Short walk to the beach for the sunrise and close to the river for sunsets! Bed is very comfortable. Has a very strong musty smell. Could use a deep clean & dehumidifier. And should have larger air conditioners especially in the bedroom area.

The apartment looks just like the photos. Although not new, it has clearly been maintained well. Everything worked as it should. I would give this 10 stars for cleanliness! And having a king sized bed was a huge plus. The place was roomy and not cramped. As in the photo, there is a funky step up into the bathroom, but, it is what it is. The location of the unit was really nice. Close to everything you need but not IN it. It was quiet and also easy to park and unload the car. Just a short walk to the beach. The owner was easy to reach and attentive. We felt very comfortable. We hope to come back.

After Spending most of our lives on the Ocean City NJ beaches we decided to duplicate our love of the beach with a place in Melbourne Beach.
