Great Stay
This is a lovely property with beautiful lake views, in a safe family area. We had a great stay. The host was easy to contact and very helpful and responsive and immediately went out and bought a few things we needed. There were lots of thoughtful touches when we arrived. Thanks Selina for being such a great host!

Why they chose this property

Mr. T's house is close to Routes 70, 73, 295 and the NJ Turnpike or Garden States parkway. Shopping and Supermarket are nearby. A historic Village area including unique shops and restaurants lineup on the original “Main Street.”

Medford was recognized as one of the best Small Town to Escapes by the National Geographic books. It is nestled in the New Jersey Pine Barrens area as a part of the Pinelands National Reserve, the country's first National Reserve. Despite rapid urbanization of surrounding areas, Medford residents are very proud of protecting this quiet and environmental area connected by lakes, state forest trails, community beaches, private camps, bike paths and sidewalks. Wharton State Forest, the largest state forest in NJ, is 15 minutes’ away.

What makes this property unique

Example of 1-week family & friends vacation calendar:

Day 1: The lake is very quiet in the morning. Have the morning coffee sitting on your own dock watching sunrise on the lake. Hiking in Black Run Preserve/Wharton State Forest. There are many trails in Pinelands National Reserve (Pine Barrens). Order Pizza or Chinese food for dinner. Watching a family movie.

Day 2: Kayaking, Canoeing, fishing, etc (ALL PROVIDED). The lakes are connected. Explore! Two adult and two kid safe jackets are available. Cook family meal with the provided slow cooker!

Day 3: Visit the "main street" and discover the interesting shops and enjoy the famous ice cream on the street! Have the dinner in Braddock's Tavern. It's a popular but a little pricy restaurant for events and wedding. Make a reservation if you want to have dinner there.

Day 4: Go to the community private beach, playing beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, swimming, picnicking. Please be aware that lifeguard only on duty during summer weekends.

Day 5: Relax at home. BBQ on the lakefront patio, try the outdoor pizza oven, play pool table and family games, Say Hellos to the kayakers passing by. Dress-up or dress-down for a family dinner!

Day 6: Visit Johnson's Corner farm or/and Amish Dutch Market (open Friday 9-7 and Saturday 8-4). Johnson's Corner farm has a busy calendar for kids' activities. Check out their website and make plans. Their blueberry pie and the buffalo chicken dip are the best in the area! Don't miss it! Many delicious Amish food in the Amish Market for today's dinner!

Or if kids like construction theme and love to ride & operate specially engineered real machines, plan a day trip to Diggerland which is only around 15 minutes away. Their park hours are vary during seasons. Please check the website and plan ahead!

Day 7: Enjoy the last moment in the lakefront for morning coffee and breakfast! . Say goodbye and welcome you back next time! Don't forget any of your belongings.
