We enjoyed our stay. Great kitchen + living area - we did a lot of cooking and it had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the yard and fire pit. Thank you!
Great location close to town and the mtns. Very well stocked (better than most). Beautifully decorated. Very accurate description online. I have nothing but compliments! Thanks for hosting us. We’ll be back!
This was a good place to stay if you are looking for a weekend getaway. The cabin is close to town if you need to pick up groceries or want to dine at a local restaurant. There are lots of hiking trails nearby. Bald eagles, elk and many other wildlife roam the area and are very photogenic. I enjoyed my stay!
Cute clean small home. Bathroom is absolutely tiny but the owner is up front on their listing. Bedroom with queen is really small nowhere to put anything. There is nowhere to hang outside at all. It's a good place to crash after a long day of hiking.
This worked well for a weekend getaway at White Pass. While the bedrooms and bathroom were small (as noted in the listing), the main living space and kitchen were well-sized. No issues.
Cozy clean cute cabin in a perfect quiet setting, besides the sound of Elk who crossed through the neighborhood twice. So cool to hear and see them! Easy access to Mt. Rainier entrances, and close enough to Packwood for whatever you may need.

We used this property for a family trip to Mount Rainier. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals (super helpful). The host was responded quickly when I couldn’t get the guide book to download. We would definitely use this space again.
It was a great stay. The property was clean and comfortable which are my main priorities. Beautiful location right out of Packwood. The host was very attentive.
The only con would be the size of the bathroom. The host is upfront about that if you are paying attention.
The cabin was nice. A little chilly and not any great views of anything, no good outdoor space, no dishwasher, and super small bathroom, but the laundry set up is nice, the interior is nice, and the hot tub was hot! It's just sooo expensive with all the fees and hidden costs, and check in is late and check out is early which rubs the wrong way, but overall the cabin is a great place to stay and the host is very responsive and helpful.
Wonderful host interaction, there were just a few things that stood out to us during and after our stay. It’s very difficult to locate the house in the dark. We got there around 5 pm and couldn’t see the address posted anywhere due to there being no lighting. The hot tub while nice had either dirt or sand, with pine needles floating around. We were very diligent in making sure to wear shoes while walking out to the hot tub to not track anything in. The laches in the clover are broken all except 1. There’s no dishwasher which isn’t a big deal but I found that there was a layer of dust and food grime on the cutlery and pans.
We stayed here for a family vacation and loved it!! The darling fireplace gives the space a cozy feeling. We used the hot daily and it was so relaxing and fun for our kiddos. There are plenty of games for children, ours are ages 8, and 9. The fence between houses provides privacy between properties while being esthetically pleasing. Overall, we loved this property and would love to plan another trip!

Thank you for the amazing review!! It was so great hosting your family!
My sister and I had a quick getaway to Packwood. The Little Elk cabin was just the right spot. The first morning we were there the elk were right next to the house!
It was a nice quiet neighborhood thAt provided the peaceful escape we were looking for.
The house was quick to respond to my questions, which allowed us time to explore.
My partner and I stayed while visiting Mt. Rainier. It was an easy drive to the park and the small town of Packwood was nice and had what we needed. Ashley is very responsive and even sent someone out immediately when we had a tiny issue with the hot tub. Make sure you read the description about the bathroom. It is tiny, but we knew what to expect so it wasn’t a surprise and it fit our needs. Also, the laundry room is great and it was wonderful being able to do laundry and not packing up dirty hiking clothes. Everything was perfect and I would stay here again!
Wow! This place is a GEM! It’s so cute inside and had a cabin-y feel with all the wood accents. It was very comfortable to stay in. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked and grilled each night. The hot tub was clean, hot, and a wonderful way to wind down after skiing. You can tell a lot of thought was put into all the details in ensuring guests’ needs and comforts were met. The host was a fantastic communicator, checking in the first night to ensure we had everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the arcade game and the board games. We literally have zero critiques, it was just the perfect mini vacay for us :) Thank you for an A stay! We would highly recommend and would love to book again in the future.
This small cabin is cozy and well decorated. We liked being so close to Mount Rainier National Park for daily hiking although we had to be be in the park before 7am each day due to the new time entry system that was always sold out. The host was responsive and helpful.
We had fun playing the arcade game. A dishwasher would have been nice as who wants to do dishes on vacation. The master bedroom bed is only accessed by one side so my spouse would have to crawl over me to get up during the night but that was part of the fun. The negative experience was the sap from the trees near the cabin that was dumped on our car after a storm the first night. It took me several hours to clean it off the roof, all the car panels, windshields and door handles. Park away from the trees!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Little Elk Cabin in Packwood, Washington. The property was exactly as described, and we found it to be the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Mount Rainier.
The cabin is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, which made for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serene surroundings after a long hike. The small bathroom, as noted in the listing, was not an issue for us and was more than adequate for our needs. Additionally, the washer and dryer were a great bonus, allowing us to pack lighter and refresh our gear after a day out.
If you plan on cooking and traveling from Seattle, we highly recommend grabbing groceries at the QFC in Enumclaw, WA There’s an IGA in Packwood, but the selection is small and a few restaurants nearby as well. We visited Packwood Brewing Co., which is not to be missed—great food, excellent beer, live music, and friendly people.
The cabin’s location, close to the Paradise entrance of Mount Rainier, made our daily adventures easy and accessible. The hosts were communicative and ensured that we had everything we needed for a great stay. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a serene and well-located getaway!
