Perfect place for our trip. Very short drive to downtown and a comfortable house. The surrounding areas appeared a little rough but the house is on a nice street and the security system made us feel very safe. The house was well stocked and we would recommend it to others!
Such a cute cozy house to stay in! The owner was very prompt in returning messages, and I appreciated that we didn't have any "chores" to do before checkout. The house was very clean!
What a charming place! It was perfect for our needs and had us "a-buzz." Checking in was a breeze. We could hear the trains passing, but it wasn't too bothersome. I do wish there were bedside lamps; the overhead lights were quite bright.
We came in town for my brother‘s wedding. They had the reception at Bosco’s. Before we left today, we had breakfast at Brother Juniper. I recommend both restaurants almost as much as I recommend the Beehive.
It wasn’t quite what I was expecting, not for photos or listing… because the house itself is cute. You can tell the owner cares about the property and guests. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but we didn’t have any problems. The security system and cameras did help ease the worry. The owner is quick to respond and very nice and helpful. Overall it was good.
Though we had a hiccup with number of beds the neighbors made up it
( neighbors could not have been any friendlier ). Every where we went folks were friendly. Location to Beale street and other attractions were spot on and super close. Corner lot on busy street and airport near by. Train whistle in the back ground none of which was troublesome or extemely loud. House was as picture showed. Clean bright and well decorated. Small house with an open concept very cozy bedrooms. Kitchen bathroom and laundry had supplies. Nice yard and lovely front porch to hang out. 2 adults can stay there comfortably. With so much to see and do you really just sleep there.
The Bee Hive was a nice, comfortable stay for our family during our visit to Memphis for a week. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and we enjoyed our privacy. The neighborhood was questionable, but the security system gave us peace of mind. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families staying in Memphis!
4 star on the cleanliness was nothing to do with the inside.
The lawn was in need of mowing and the honeysuckle needs a trim by the driveway.
It smelled good, but was definitely "grabby" when trying to get in the car.
I would certainly stay again if I'm ever in Memphis in the future!
We had a great stay at the Beehive…it is exactly as described. Decor is so cute
It worked well for 4 adults.
Communication with Bree was easy and she responded immediately. There were not enough mugs and she immediately brought more. She provided us with a guide to help us. House well stocked.
The location makes it easy to get to all attractions by car..it is a quiet neighbourhood although it is sad to see so many houses boarded up in the neighbourhood …and throughout Memphis but that has no bearing on the Beehive.
We enjoyed our stayed at this cute house and recommend it.
This property is very secure and is only about 10 minutes from Graceland and other conveniences. The house itself was very clean and cute! The host was responsive when we needed a quick response.
House was very clean and supplied all necessary amenities. It was centrally located close to everything we had planned. Camera and alarm system made us feel secure. The alarm code was set incorrectly, but the owner responded immediately with the correct code.
My only suggestion would be to put a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms.
This house was a great find. The owner Bre was very responsive. The only problem we had was that the internet wasn't working one night. I contacted Bre and after some trouble shooting we found it was a company wide outage. We were okay with it though as there are some games at the house so we enjoyed a family game night. Bre was nice enough to keep us updated about the internet as well. The pictures that are posted are exactly how the home looks. If you are a light sleeper the only issue is that there are trains that go through the area at night. This was an issue for my husband only. Check in and out was effortless.
It's not much from the outside, but you don't need grand scale when you have so much to see in Memphis. The inside is more than any hotel would give you anyway. Spacious front room with kitchen allowed us to sit together and play games, full size fridge with ample counter space if you want to cook a meal, and a TV mounted on the wall with full articulating arm to allow you to watch from either room. The bedrooms might be on the small side, but the beds were very comfortable and perfect to fall asleep on after a long day visiting the zoo for us. The entire place was very clean
If we had to give a complaint, not having the fan and light on separate switches in the bedroom would be it. My husband could reach the pull string, so we didn't have a problem turning the light off and leaving the fan on, but for shorter visitors you may need to stand on the bed to reach.
Owner responded very quickly to any questions we had and was always professional. Really enjoyed our stay, would love to stay again should our travels bring us back to Memphis.
