About this property
Hank Williams Cabin 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Wi-fi, Must See Chalet, Great location
Lovesick Blues was built by the wife of the late Hank Williams Sr. This cabin is nestled away in the mountain above Gatlinburg. The musical notes of the famous song Lovesick Blues written by Hank Williams, Sr. himself elegantly surround the cabin's deck as the railing that wraps three sides of the cabin in harmony. Relax away with privacy fencing tucked away on the back deck while listening to the nearby creek.
We invite our guests to enjoy the Owner's Club during the summer. There is access to a swimming pool, ping pong, foos ball, tennis, slide for kids, playground, exercise room and a pool table in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is open for the season on Memorial Day weekend and closed for the season on Labor Day weekend. The clubhouse is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance each week.
Inside you will find some of the original memorabilia such as an autographed album, guitar and pictures. The original barrel barstools add extra touch to the breakfast bar in the fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. However, it still has the table with four chairs for those sit down meals.
The living area has a comfortable sofa, loveseat and chair with ottoman, wood burning fireplace, flat screen tv and stereo with CD. For those inclined to make there own entertainment there is also a piano tucked away for your enjoyment along with a slew of board games, high speed wireless internet (wifi). We also offer free long distance.
The bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed, dresser, closet, alarm clock, 13' TV and a full size washer and dryer. Across from the bedroom is a full bath with a shower tub.
Upstairs there is a cozy loft area that has a twin bed and the original barrel chair that Ms. Williams once decorated the house with. A great place to just sit and enjoy all the history this cabin holds. There is also a second enclosed bedroom with a king size bed, vanity table, alarm clock, 13' TV and a full bath with a standup shower.
Accept our invitation. You won't be disappointed! This beautiful, Non-Smoking chalet is sure to please. Our chalet is located in Chalet Village right off of Ski Mountain Road. It is conveniently located only 2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and less than 500 yards to Ober Gatlinburg where you can enjoy ice skating, skiing, water parks, alpine slide, tram to downtown Gatlinburg, bear habitat, restaurants and much more.
We always keep our calendar up to date so please be sure to check out an available date for your vacation. During the winter season when snow and ice are involved on the roads, 4 wheel drive or chains may be necessary on some roads. All cancellations will be given the credit for the nights not stayed toward a future stay based on availability if cancellations are finalized before 2 weeks of your arrival date.
For our past guests, there is no longer a hot tub at this cabin. After 12 years, the motor has died and we have decided to not get a replacement at this time.

About the host
Hosted by Monica Cameron

My name is Monica Cameron and my family has enjoyed Lovesick Blues for 11 years, and we welcome you and hope that you will enjoy our mountain home too.
Why they chose this property
I have been going to Gatlinburg all of my life with my family. We love Gatlinburg, great activities, wonderful shopping and an awesome atmosphere. I have always admired Lovesick Blues as my parents have a house across the street and I always dreamed to own it one day.
What makes this property unique
I LOVE the outlet shops in Pigeon Forge which is only a few miles away from the cabin. I enjoy relaxing and playing board games in the cabin. During the summer, we love to go to the clubhouse which is just a few short minutes from the cabin. Year round we love to go to the top of the mountain which is only minutes away too. At the top of the mountain, Ober Gatlinburg, there are lots of great activities for the summer and winter. We love to park at Ober Gatlinburg and ride the tram downtown and eat dinner, sight see and shop around.
