Historic bungalow less than a mile from downtown on greenway trail

Historic home with new furnishings, less than a mile from downtown Hendersonville. Superb location is just feet away from the new Ecusta Trail greenway. Three bedrooms and one and a half baths, kitchen with nice pantry space, living room with built-ins, dining room and lovely porch to enjoy the outdoors. Onsite parking and fenced-in back yard. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place.

Our historic home was built in 1925. It was gently renovated, but it isn't new. In some areas, the floor may not be perfectly level, and there is a basement with a motion light that picks up movement in the hallway - sometimes. The house can be a little eccentric, but we love it for that - we hope you do too!

Our family's stay at the bungalow in Hendersonville was a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable experience. The location provided the opportunity to access a variety of North Carolina state parks and local attractions, including Asheville (30 min) and downtown Hendersonville (5 min). The welcome book with suggestions for activities and dining was quite helpful, and we especially enjoyed local favorites including HenDough, Celtic Creamery, and the Appalachian Pinball Museum. Our kids loved the room with bunk beds, and the games were enjoyed by all. We had a great experience, and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Adorable home with amazing porch. Walking/biking trail right across the street, and an adorable cafe 0.4 miles away on the trail that we loved! Super clean space and excellent communication from the host.

Absolutely fabulous home! I slept in a very comfortable memory foam mattress and experienced pleasant dreams every night. It's as of this place is guarded by friendly spirits. Old time charm, but loaded with every modern amenity you could ask for. Would love to retirn for a future visit!!

Great Bungalow close to downtown

Nice property close to downtown Hendersonville. Kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking and remainder of property is comfortable and well thought out. lots of great activities in the area. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family enjoyed staying at this great property while in Hendersonville for a family reunion. The house was spacious as only older homes are with the porch being a favorite gathering spot. The kitchen is small but well equipped. (Note that the oven is smaller than standard size.) The kids enjoyed the games and having bunk beds with their cousins. We made do with 1.5 bathrooms and appreciated the larger washer and dryer. Nice to have linens and towels supplied. There is some local traffic on this corner but the proximity to the Ecusta Trail was priceless. With multiple families staying in various locations in town the Ecusta Cafe and family friendly Trailside Brewery made perfect hangout where we could all gather. The house is an easy 10 minute walk to Cafe in one direction and to a park in the other direction. 3rd Ave is a direct sidewalk walk to downtown. The location is also convenient to Flat Rock and Village Park, Carl Sandburg Home and Goat Farm, DuPont waterfalls, Brevard, wineries, etc. and many other sites. Rick was quick to respond to questions and made booking simple. We would definitely return. Thanks, Rick

Cleanest rental we have ever stayed in!

A wonderful wedding weekend getaway for 8 adult friends. Location was wonderful, house was larger than expected, updated, CLEAN!, and quiet area. Loved the side porch. Great proximity to downtown. Would absolutely stay again.

HISTORIC BUNGALOW

Just a girls weekend. We enjoyed the farmer's market on Saturday and downtown Hendersonville. Everyone was friendly and plenty of places to eat.

We did a girls getaway. Close to downtown Hendersonville and wineries! It was the in the perfect location for us. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again! Very clean!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean and met our expectations. A few more house essentials would have been nice like more trash bags, laundry detergent etc. But overall, a good stay and would stay there again if needed. House was cute and had plenty of room.

Perfect spot in Henderson

Very clean and perfectly decorated little house. Our kids loves the bunk room and all the games that were provided to play. Host had great local recommendations. Would definitely highly recommend for a stay in Hendersonville, particularly if you have kids.

Family visit for Car show

Very clean, comfortable house! Perfect for our short trip to Hendersonville. We got to relax on the side porch in the evenings. The location is perfect- close to downtown and the events we were attending in Mills River. The access to the greenway was so nice for a morning stroll or an after dinner walk. Would highly recommend!
