HotTub-Elkpoint-True Ski In Ski Out, Pet Friendly

Summary:

Private HOT TUB on downstairs patio. 2,950 square foot, 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath end unit Elkpoint (Unit 5) one of the few true ski-in/ski-out properties at Purgatory. Short walk/ski to plaza literally 25 steps from the Express Six-Pack Lift. Our luxury townhome has the best views on the mountain! Comfort is abundant in every feature of this home--from radiant in-floor heat, to warm timber accents, floor to ceiling windows, an open kitchen and gas fireplaces in the great room and the master bedroom.



The Space:

4 BR - 3.5 Bath with private Hot Tub on lower patio. ** Please note that this and most properties on Purgatory do NOT have air conditioning. Evenings get very cool and comfortable with windows open.



Guest Access:

Guest access is completely automated and will be sent via email & text message 7 days prior to arrival.

$300 due at booking

A mandatory 4% Purgatory Resort fee is required for all stays and is included in your quote. During your online booking, you will see the option to purchase the additional resort amenities which is an additional 4% fee. The addition Resort Amenities include an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub, and workout facility.



Cancellation Policy: A deposit payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than sixty (60) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund. Between thirty (30) days and fifty-nine (59) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. Thirty (30) days or less to arrival, no refunds given. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made between thirty one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.



TRAVEL INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AND STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. During your booking process, you have the opportunity to select and purchase travel insurance.

Literally just a few steps to the bunny slope and less than 100 yards to the express lift. Ski in right to the back door. Easily walkable to the Purgatory base area. Host was proactive and responded quickly to questions. Kitchen is well stocked and the cookware was in great shape. Beautiful views of the mountains. Hottub is smallish but wonderful after a day of skiing.

Family Ski Trip

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time staying at the condo. It was an easy ski in-ski out. There was plenty of room for everyone and the place was really clean and well stocked. Prior to the trip, we had questions and they were very responsive and helpful. Purgatory is an amazing family destination.

Vacay Fun

Ski Weekend

Even though the snow conditions weren’t ideal, we still had a fabulous ski weekend! Fabulous location- within steps of the main lift. We traveled with two other families and this property comfortably accommodated us all. The beds are super cozy! And the pool and hot tub were within walking distance which was a bonus for the kids! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Condo at Purgatory!

We had an awesome stay at this beautiful Purgatory Ski condo! Beautiful views, ski-in, ski-out location couldn't be beat! Access to the hot tub at the Purgatory Lodge was nice. We downhill skied, nordic skied, toured on skis in the mountains and had fun with our dogs. Cooked a bunch in the well-equipped kitchen and spent a lot of time with friends and family!

Great house

We had 3 families (6 adults, 8 kids) for an annual ski trip and the house was almost perfect for us! We’ve stayed in 2 other ski in/out houses on the mountain in past years and this was definitely the best location. House was clean and ready for us a little bit early, and communication with the property manager was great. We will definitely consider renting again next year!

Access was easy, location and directions great. The house was clean and enjoyable to be in. They had extra blankets/humidifiers etc in every bedroom. VRC responded immediately to any issues/Enquires. The possibility of early check in would be nice as I have had this at other properties.

Beautiful townhouse with easy ski access

We had a really nice stay at the townhouse. It is well furnished, the view is beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. You can easily ski back into the house. While it wasn’t an issue for us, note that to get to the base and main lift you will need to make a short hike up the hill. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Our only very minor critique is that the use of the Purgatory facilities wasn’t included. At other Elk Point units we have stayed in, this has always been included with the booking, and our friends staying a couple of townhouses over had access included with their booking instead of an additional $175 charge. We would absolutely stay again and recommend the unit.

So convenient to the slope!

Roomy, very nice condo for 11! Three floors, kids bunk room, master and two more bedrooms. This place overlooked the slopes for easy ski in/ski out. Great place!

Elk Point #5 delivers again. Rented back in 2018, and managed to secure it again for 2021. Accommodated our 2 large families of 12-total with ease. Can't beat the location...is truly ski in-ski out.

Heavenly stay

The property had everything we absolutely needed. We had plenty of towels and blankets. Kitchen had big pots and pans for cooking. Views were so special. We will be back again.

Undersold

In a last minute decision, our friends joined us on a trip to the mountains. We were so excited to find our stay so easy to book and even more so when we walked in the front door. This place is amazing and fit every request we could’ve thought up. The property accommodated our group of 11 and there was still room to spare. Such a great, quiet location between Durango and Silverton. Don’t rethink it, just rent it.

The place we stayed was absolutely perfect. The resort (disclaimer: during COVID) was really disappointing this year. Places closing early and high school kids routinely getting food orders mixed up when the only available items on menu are pizza and wings.
