The maintenance person needs to fix up like towel racks, toilet paper holders, the internet would not stay working had to use my phone hot spot had a mold smell but juat lite their candles other then that it was nice. Convenient for us going to the railbird festival
Everything went very smoothly for our stay - easy self check-in and checkout. House was clean and well main and it was great being able to use the garage.
Good: Heat/AC, Hot Water, Washer/Dryer, All Kitchen Appliances work well. Large garage for unloading in private out of rain. Nice living room. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. Quiet lot/area. Friendly neighbors. Walkable neighborhood. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Not so good: House in need to TLC. Master bath shower needs good cleaning. Kitchen floor sticky. Carpets could benefit from cleaning. Only one ceiling fan worked. Only 2 Bedroom TV had streaming devices that worked. Back deck was total mess and back house needs pressure washing. No working back deck light. Obvious not all sheets getting changed/washed, my bed had dog hair, a cough drop, and a small piece of metal in it (?). Neighborhood cars park everywhere. You'll need to be extra alert and careful as you need to 'maneuver' to the house. As stated with a little TLC would be an amazing location but in current state, would recommend you wash everything on arrival.
We enjoyed out stay. The house was as listed, very comfortable, clean and just the right size. We had plenty of specious bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We have utilized VBRO on several occasions and this one has been one if the nicest by far!
Our family came in for UK graduation and Derby. It was easy to find and was pleasantly surprised by all the updated decor. Quiet area and contacted host for a few questions that were immediately answered. I definitely recommend staying.
House was cute and comfortable. Owner let us park in the garage which was great for the cold rainy and winter season also good for my 80 year old mom. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything.
Thank you for a great stay! I booked this property so that our family would be close to wedding venue. It was an excellent choice as it was only a few miles away. The house was roomy, clean, and comfortable and met all our needs. The area was quiet even though there were many other homes nearby. I would stay at this property again if I would need to stay in area again!
Very much served our purposes attending a festival in Lexington. We were able to all get a place to lay our heads and a nice shower after a long day. We weren’t at the property long, but we had everything we needed and no complaints!
This house was perfect for what we needed. It was close to 75, Walmart and restaurants. We used it as a stopping point to go to the Arc Encounter which was 30 minutes away. When we go back I will be looking up this house first!
Great, roomy house in quiet/safe neighborhood. Perfect for events at the Kentucky Horse Park. Close to enough restaurants and shops to stay in the area for the 6 days we were there. Nice end of street location eliminating traffic and noise. (Good shower pressure!) Host was easy to reach and everything was as it was advertised. Thumbs up!

Easy things to fix
Quick trip with my mom to visit my daughter who is interning in the Georgetown area. The house is in a good location close to downtown and about a mile from a Walmart. As an over of several rentals myself, I understand there is always something to fix or address in your rentals. Sometimes they are easier than others. While we figured out how to make the house work, I would strongly recommend the following easy fixes. 1. Buy new towels. The towels located in the master bath were pretty gross. They were all different colors, pretty worn though, and had threads hanging from them. We went to Walmart and bought 3 new white bathtowels which we left at the house for the next quest. They are on sale for 3.98 so getting 10 and splitting between the bathrooms (and throwing away the current ones) would make sense. 2. There is no shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap, etc in any of the bathrooms. I saw the owner cutting the grass and asked him. He confirmed they dont supply. This makes no sense to me as this is a need for all of our renters. Again, we went back to Walmart and purchased some small ones for each bathroom. 3. The downstairs thermostat is locked and set on 64. It was freezing on the first level. When I asked about this, I was told to adjust the upstairs thermostat which was set to 71 and unlocked. The upstairs was quite comfortable so we made due by bringing blankets downstairs. 4. More kitchen appliances are an absolute must.
We are a family of six, two adults and four children ages 8 to 13. We enjoyed this house for the location to the Ark Encounter and Horse Park. Four bedrooms and four beds worked well for our family too. Unfortunately, the dining room table only sat four people. There was not a picture of the dining room on the listing, so it's my fault, but that's one of the key items I look for in a VRBO is if the table can fit six people so we can have meals together. AC worked great. Beds were comfortable.
We had a three day weekend and my daughter is a student in Georgetown so we decided to go down for an extended visit. House was clean, and comfortable. I emailed the host 2 times and received prompt responses. I would 100% stay at this property again. Check in was a breeze as was check out. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
This property was a perfect spot for our family for the week while our son was competing at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was a quick drive back and forth and was also located a quick drive from downtown Georgetown which you have to visit! The house was clean, spacious and had a nice backyard seating area as well as a large yard for kids to play in. The property manager responded so quickly if you have a question. Highly recommend!
I've never had to leave a bad VRBO before, so this is a first. Upon arrival the home was unacceptably dirty. Greasy stove, animal hair in the bedding, dirty coffee maker, animal hair tumbleweeds in the closets, human hair in the bathroom drawers. We left within 45 minutes and checked into a hotel. I was too angry so I waited to contact the host in the morning. We assumed it was a cleaning company issue, and after sending a message requesting a refund, we heard nothing for a week. Upon the second attempt, the host accused us of causing the problems, even though the home has a RING camera and they know we left. Then the host had the audacity to give us a poor guest review. Save yourself the frustration, and avoid this home. I'm sure there are many other good options in the Lexington, KY area.
Just a few items for future guests.
1) not enough eating utensils for 8 guests
2) shower liner in hall bath needs replacing
3) two ceiling fans in guest bedrooms did not work
4) both trash cans were full when we got there. They were next to garage and smelled terrible. We moved them to the side of house.

Could be better!
The photos accurately show the furnishings of the home, but that is the best I can say about the place. A lot of little things should be improved for the customer's comfort. Some light switches seem to go to nothing. Three kitchen plug-ins did not work. Dirty windows had cobwebs, dead spiders and flies in abundance. We had to wash some of the dishes before using them. Paper towels/napkins for the kitchen are inexpensive, but we had to supply our own. Clothes hangers in the closets and doorknobs on closet doors are generally expected, but they are missing from this home. Written instructions about using the TV remotes and HVAC system would benefit the customer. The beds were clean, and the carpets were vacuumed. The bathrooms were clean as well. Our family has stayed at other VRBO properties, so this was not our first experience. Therefore, we were disappointed in renting this property because of the multiple little things that had to be overlooked.
Our overall stay started very positive. Although a few key things to note.... There is absolutely no "courtesy" amenities so be prepared to bring everything down to a bar of soap and coffee pods. The stairs could be a considered a trip hazard as the carpet is loose and the planks are not very secure. As far as cleanliness, it was not bad, however the showers/fans could use a deep clean. In regards to the comfort level of beds, the master bedroom was very nice, however the three other beds are basically relatable to sleeping on a wood pallet with minimal bedding and lacks blankets. The downstairs AC is locked with no ability to adjust and it was set at low 60's, which was extremely cold. Communication was good, aside from the rude message we received around 10:40ish that we were late checking out and we needed leave immediately to avoid an additional fee. Per the listing, check out was 11am and we were within that time frame.
Nice place in a quiet residential neighborhood. About 10 min from Kentucky Horse Park and 10 min from some cute restaurants & shops in Georgetown. Clean, and as pictured.
Nice spot - bit far from Louisville, but ok for bourbon trail
Used this as our home base for the Bourbon trail. Was great to sit out back on the deck and enjoy a few sips while listening to the birds chirp, have some awesome discussions with friends and watch the sunset. A bit far for the Louisville places (like an hour) but overall an easy experience. Few breakfast spots available in the area as well.
