We couldn't have been happier to return for our 2nd stay at this beautiful home. More than enough room for everyone, ages 4-76, plus our dog, Duke. Perfect for people and pups!
Great house on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed sledding and ice fishing on the property and had a great time playing games as a family at the large dining table. Second living room gave room for the kids to hang out separately.
We had an awesome time! This was one of the most gorgeous and best stocked homes we’ve been to in the ADKs. The lake was super quiet. It felt like we had it to ourselves. Loved kayaking at sunrise and exploring the lake coves. Ross answered any questions we had very quickly, and that was greatly appreciated. We caught lots of Bass and a few walleye for all You fishermen! Watch for sunken stumps. We hit a few! We would definitely return for another visit.

Thanks for your feedback and glad the trip - and fishing was excellent! Hope you come back!
This house is really a very nice house with abundant space, comfortable furnishings, nicely decorated and has great views from the lake front. It is a little remote from the nearest grocery stores so be prepared for a decent car ride for provisions. In return the solitude and beauty of the lake and mountain views is worth it.
The house was beautiful and big enough for all of us. The lake was the most peaceful one we’ve ever been to. We’ve stayed all over the Adirondacks and Maine. We were a little nervous at first with no cell service but STARLINK wifi was great and we had no issues. There is also a landline. Kayaking surrounded by gorgeous mountains was amazing.
We had a wonderful week with family at this huge lakefront home. Everything you need is there on property. Paper products, stocked pantry, and laundry/dish soap. It is a short walk down to the lake lots of water toys and gorgeous views of Whiteface Mountain! There was ai much space inside and outside we were never cramped or felt on top of each other. Would absolutely recommend and visit again!

Thank you so much and very glad you had a super time!
We had a great time at the house with our daughters and grandsons. They enjoyed the lake every single day. Even when the dock was ruined by a storm on the last two days of our stay, they still went out in the kayaks and tubes. The cabin is beautiful; the host thought of everything you could need to have a pleasant stay. The cabin is remote, so stock up on groceries before you come. We went to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid but mostly stayed at the lake. All in all, a great vacation.
Our multi-generation family (plus dog!) had an outstanding experience at this property. The house itself was equally cozy and spacious; the main floor had an open floor plan, and bedrooms were all a great size. The two separate living spaces really came in handy so the little ones and adults could each have their own space when needed. The lake is great for fishing, and we caught several each day. Ross is a pleasure to deal with -very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely look to book again next year.
As the sign in the house said "Memories are Made at the Lake"
This was the perfect floor plan for our family of 10. With bedrooms on each of the three floors each daughters' family had their space, my husband and I enjoyed the master suite on the main floor. Everyone agreed it was the best equipped kitchen we have experienced in a rental and the layout made it easy for more than one person to be there at a time cooking or cleaning up. The big round table was the perfect spot for every meal and evenings had us using it for card games. The short walk to the water through the pine woods was enchanting - must have been all the fairy and gnome houses casting a spell. We swam every day but one when thunder kept us out of the water. The kayaks were put to use every day and those that fished caught a wide variety to toss back. A poll of the family resulted in very high marks for this special place and Ross couldn't have been more responsive with such timmely answers to our questions.
Although everyone calls this home a "cabin" it is far more that a cabin. It is a beautiful retreat set by a beautifully quiet large pond {really a lake in many ways}. The home is large enough for 2-3 families without being cramped. The home is supplied really well with plates and pots and pans. And they are all in great shape. Although there is no A/C it wasn't needed and we had at least 2 days in the mid 80's. The walk down to the lake is relatively short maybe 1-1.5 min. The only down side to the lake is that at the shoreline there is no beach area and there are slippery rocks from the edge of the water to about 10-12 feet out. So if you have water shoes bring them. The fire pit area is great and we did a couple of bonfires. While you are there it's a must to go to Lake Placid. Given the Olympic history alone it is well worth the ride there as well as going to the Ski Jump facility. The owner, Ross, is great to talk to especially if you have questions about the area/property and he responds very quickly to an email. All in all this "cabin" is in a beautiful setting, very clean, spacious and well worth staying there and enjoying the pond/lake, the local hiking trails etc.
