Hey there, good people! I'm a well-traveled host who has stayed in several vacation rentals -- I've taken pride in understanding what guests want and need. Working as a Producer by day, I'm a Chicago native who's lived in Gowanus / Park Slope area for 4+ years. I've fallen in love with the neighborhoods good eats, unplanned entertainment, and open green spaces.

Why they chose this property

5 min walk to 5th Ave and you'll find any and everything you need. Tons of well renowned restaurants, trendy bars, shopping, pharmacies, grocery markets, banks, gyms.

Walking distance to multiple subways (R/F/G), approx. 10 min train ride to downtown Brooklyn, 15-20 min car ride to lower Manhattan via battery tunnel. Also, Ubers take under 3 minutes to arrive typically. There are two train stations within walking distance, one on Prospect Ave - R train stop, one on 9th St. & 4th Ave – F, G, R train stops.

What makes this property unique

Home to classic rowhouses and converted warehouses, the area offers an industrial grit -- full of creative types w/ studios, event spaces, and cool art galleries. The apartment is across the street from commercial warehouses and residential buildings - general noise that NYC comes with should be anticipated (it is not a "quiet" Brooklyn block), you may hear trucks, construction workers, etc in the area at times. Great base for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn.
