Our family came to the area for a soccer tournament. This home was the perfect option for being able to spread out, have our own food and drinks, and to be able to wash uniforms, etc. We felt safe and comfortable here. The little details- like laundry detergent and snacks- made our stay so much more enjoyable. It would be good to note that this home is located on a busy street. Thank you for a great and affordable stay!
My family and I were in town for my son's graduation. The lovely accommodations topped it off. The only thing I believe needs added is maybe a rolling island for the kitchen. We need more counter space while preparing our meals. Otherwise we were very comfortable and satisfied with our stay.
We came into town to see family. We were looking for a clean place for a decent price, and this was it. It's only 40-50 feet from the road, so its a little loud at night with the cars going by, but not too bad. Decent fenced-in yard which our dog loved.
We enjoyed our stay at The Craftsman. The amenities were exactly as advertised. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable, fenced yard was perfect for our dog, large dining room table provided plenty of room for a puzzle and we enjoyed the perfect location close to ETSU, Milligan University and any necessary shopping. Thanks for the hospitability!

If we would have know that a lock box to control the climate we would have never stayed at this place. They had fans and half the fans were broken. Front screened door was ripped and sagging. Beds was not in good shape.
3 bdrm 2 bath worked out, I will say there could be some maintenance done around the house and some landscaping work done outside would make it more appealing. Over all we needed a place to shower and sleep while away for a baseball tournament at ETSU and it was fine for that.
The property was clean but otherwise lacking. The thermostat was locked up with a key and the property company was flippant and rude when asked about it- insinuating that the air wouldn’t work unless set to their preset temp. All the furniture was extremely cheap with paper thin bedding and most closets were locked up with no clothing storage. It’s very obvious that a company owns the property and no one cares about it or the people who stay there. Spend your money and your stay somewhere else.
We enjoyed the property while spending time with family for our daughter's graduation from ETSU. It would have been nice to have a grill so we could have grilled one night instead of going out.
My oldest graduated UGA Pharmacy School this past spring. He obtained a residency at the VA hospital in Johnson City so this trip was to move him from Georgia to Tennessee. The property was centrally located and just as described. We had a very comfortable stay and had a great week. Thank you so much!
The bungalow was very comfortable and there were small touches included - snacks, toiletries and kitchen basics. The kitchen was well equipped and roomy.
The only thing we missed was adequate storage for our clothes. There were only closets in 2 bedrooms and one bedroom had no closet space or drawers. As we stayed for 7 nights and there were 5 of us, this was a little inconvenient.
We did appreciate the quick replies to any questions that we had.

Clean, but bad smell forced us to leave right away.
The property seemed clean, but the front gate was broken, the storm door was stuck, and once we went in, we were overwhelmed by a bad smell. Moldy or mildewy. My wife who has breathing issues started wheezing almost right away. We only stayed long enough to connect to wi-fi and get a hotel room nearby.
Of course it was too late to try to get any kind of refund.
You did a good job of updating an older home. I should have asked more questions. I did ask if the kitchen was adequately supplied for a family Thanksgiving dinner for 7 or 8 people and was assured that it was. When I got there, I found that the plates were too small, there were only 2 bowls(total), no casserole dishes at all., not enough silverware and no large serving spoons, only one mid-size pot, and no large pots. I knew there was very little counter space, so I took a 4 ft folding table which was a life saver in the kitchen and had to double as a buffet for serving the meal. The fenced yard was an incredible bonus for our 2 pups, and the location was fine. I ended up at Walmart to buy bowls, silverware, casserole dishes, Cookie sheets and large serving spoons to the tune of nearly $200. Still, partly my fault for failing to ask more detailed questions.
