Our home in Three Rivers is located in the perfect location right on the Kaweah River. The property has the best swimming hole in all of Three Rivers and it will be yours for your family to enjoy together. Enjoy the sandy beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas while your kids play swim, kayak or fish in the river. The space has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook for you and your family. Head out onto the patio to grill and eat with couches, chairs and a dining table.

Online description in-accurate

There is very little detail provide in the description. I had made the booking more than a month in advance assuming we could have a private time with the family. The owner / manager only let me know the night before that all the outdoor spaces are shared and there were a whole bunch of riules that would place restrictions on how we spend the weekend. We decided to not travel, let the owner know in advance with a clear reason - he admitted that there was material information that he had not shared in advance but refused to issue the refund.

Property not quite what it said it was

The property is nice overall but there were a few things that felt deceptive about the listing. This is a guest house right next to a main house which means that the beach area is shared. This meant there was not enough room for both houses to be at the river at the same time. Our outdoor area overlooked the driveway which obviously wasn’t that nice. There is a picture in the listing of the wading pool which makes it look much bigger than it actually is. It’s sweet but is only a wading pool for toddlers at best. The listing has three bedrooms, but that’s also deceptive. One room is a separate cottage which is quite cute but has no bathroom attached. Another bedroom is literally in the kitchen with a partial wall separating from dining table. Finally, there were mice in the kitchen and in one bedroom for sure. We understand it’s the country but it seemed like it was not being addressed properly.
