Wonderful communication! The hot tub and sauna were a wonderful addition to the stay. The house had a great layout affording lots of places for kids to play while the adults enjoyed time together.
A large group of us stayed for the sheep and wool festival and had a great time at the property. Ample parking and a fire pit made a great location for friends to hang out.
The property was amazing for a big family. It was very clean and convenient. My family and I will come back every summer. I recommend this house if you are looking to going to the Catskills. Host was very efficient in responding
We did a family vacation. We were a large group and the main common areas were a bit tight overall the stay worked for us. It also it was not clear where the washer/dryer was located.
It’s nothing amazing but gets the job done. Lots of room for a good price. Cheap furniture and you’ll have to bring most of what you need in the kitchen. I would go back.
I generally prefer an isolated location, while my wife prefers a place around people, and with people. My entire family, with children and grandchildren, stayed here for a week, and I am afraid that I am condemned to lose the argument forever more. The setting is beautiful, the accommodations excellent, and the owners easy to contact and question.
"Fell in love with this house! So cozy and inviting. Comfy bed, dreamy kitchen, and a backyard oasis. Neighborhood is friendly and safe. Didn't want to leave! ❤️"
I hope this captures the essence of a human-written review! Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
We are a large, extremely close family who now live all over the country. Once a year we move mountains to come together for a family reunion, and we want to always stay together if we can. I found this beautiful home and it was magical. We had a group that ranged in age from 67 - not quite 3, and not only did we all fit beautifully, we all had multiple places to gather. It was a weekend I'll never forget and this home was a big part of its success.

Dirty house/ nice area
The house was advertised as newly renovated; the kitchen was nice. The rest of the house was dirty, broken toilet seat, holes in doors, moldy shower and we found underwear and fingernail tips.

Good vacation house but not great
Overall a good experience. Location is convenient to the to trails and campground and different towns. However, the house feels smaller compared to the posted photos. Some of the furnitures are dated. Bedrooms do not have AC so it can become quite hot at night even with fans on.
My family stayed in the kitchen the most and enjoyed the time together.

Thank you for your stay ,we now installed ac in all the bedrooms, so nothing to worry about now.
There was 18 of us that stayed there and our 3 dogs! There was room for everyone, however I would not say it slept 24 unless everyone is a couple or doesn’t mind sharing a bed. The manager was very responsive. The only reason I would say 4.5 stars is because they are working on updating the property and what they have done is very nice work, but the rooms they haven’t gotten to yet the carpets are definitely stained and one room had a little odor. But would stay again. Just wish there was a little fenced in part for the dogs.
Great spot to see some bears, we saw one smaller one and found lots of droppings

Lots of beds, dirty and missing appliances
Russ was quick to replace the fridge when we arrived to one not working, but I will not be staying here again.
First, the appliances listed on Vrbo do not match what was in the home. I am appreciative that host purchased some things, but we had planned on using a dishwasher as it was stated to be in the home. We were a large group and it was unexpected to not find that. The grill was un-usable and falling apart. There were not enough utensils for a larger party despite advertising for 24 people to stay there. And the parking could not accommodate all of our vehicles.
Most importantly- the stove burners do not light normally. It ignited in a flame burst and burnt the arm of one of us.
I also feel that knowing if a home has a working fridge would be important prior to booking for a week-long stay.
Second, my backpack was eaten though by a mouse. I took pictures of it on the couch. I had one cookie in a ziploc bag in the side pouch and found it was chewed through in the morning with the crumbs under it from the cookie.
Third, the sheets were quite dirty. Some of the beds had human and pet hair in them, as well as dirt particles. And there was a hole in the wall of the bathroom that was there when we arrived.
Fourth, not every room has AC and it was quite hot in the house.
Fifth, the shower in the back of the house was very dirty and leaked onto the floor, making it slippery.
The washer and dryer are in the dirt floor basement and it was very dirty down there too.
