About the host
Hosted by Stephen burkelder
We are both educators who have always loved the mountains. We honeymooned in Colorado, return every summer, and long wanted to own a home in the Rockies.
Why they chose this property
We have friends living in this area who always raved about the Pikes Peak region. The view of Pikes Peak from our cabin was a selling point; you can watch the mountain change in appearance ten times a day. There is so much to do in this area, particularly within an hour's drive. It's centrally located in Colorado, close to Colorado Springs and Denver, and is easily accessible.
What makes this property unique
Some of the greatest benefits to vacationing here are the simple ones... totally relaxing, watching the hummingbirds and deer, experiencing the daily weather changes, and constantly seeing the mountains. Great fishing is nearby. And of course, the high-speed internet access!!
