About this property

Located just a short walk to Anna Maria Island in Cortez, Florida. Includes use of a 40' dock with no bridges, 5 minutes by boat to the Gulf! Short walk to restaurants, boat tours and fishing, less than a mile to the beach! Our home is very quiet with view of our canal. Enjoy watching manatees for the lanai. Two pools, hot tub, tennis courts available in the community. Covered parking for two cars. Condo has vaulted ceilings in living area and both bedrooms. Two screen lanai areas. Florida living at it's best! We have used this as our vacation home, purchased the next door unit for our use.

We live in St. Louis now but lived in this area for decades and raised our family here. We bought this unit to keep connected to friends and family-and boating of course. We love the condo and the location, so we bought the next door unit recently for our use and renting this unit. Truly a special gem, with a great association and great neighbors.

Why they chose this property

Rarely available large boat dock suitable for sailboat or other larger boat (40' boat dock) and less than a mile from the beach on Anna Maria Island. Cortez is known as a "fishing village" just a short walk or bike ride from beach and Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach. Benefits of being "off island" are many including much easier access, quieter and driving back into Bradenton or other towns. Third floor unit has high vaulted ceilings and the best canal view in the condo. Super quiet, perfect for water lovers and fishing and boating. Dock use needs separate approval and trailer storage is not available.
