Beautiful mountain home with great amenities and incredible mountain-ranch views. Enjoy your peaceful stay at the original ranch headquarters built in 1909. Completely remodeled, inside and out maintaining the historical attributes of the home. Located on a working cattle ranch you may see cattle, elk, Mule Deer and turkeys grazing the lush, green native grass.
With the area averaging over 300 sunny days per year, you will enjoy your stay about any time of year. Breathe in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the scenery of beautiful blue spruce, pine and aspen trees.
Trails including Greenhorn Mountain trail, Greenhorn Creek and Rye Park are within walking distance from the house. Lake Isabel with great fishing, San Isabel restaurant and Bishop's Castle are a short scenic drive through the majestic San Isabel Nation Forest.
As a free bonus, we offer 4 indoor horse stalls and a barn available for your use if you bring your horses. Saddle up your horses and enjoy fun and adventurous rides on a variety of picturesque trails throughout the area or on the Curtis Ranch.
Whether you are hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snow shoeing, fishing or just taking in all the natural beauty, you'll find this a magnificent place to stay!
