This is a beautiful location and very clean and well furnished property. The living quarters were cozy, the bathroom was great, and the kitchen had every pan and appliance you would need, all clean and new. The outside landscaping is beautiful and the outside seating areas are warm and inviting. Great, great property to stay at .

Thanks Julie. On my way! back anytime. We’ll work on sound proofing.
Nice apartment between Colorado City and Rye. Had the amenities that we needed to stay about a week while visiting my daughter and coordinating our move to Colorado Springs. Good pizza at the Rye cafe. good lunchat the Holly Dit golf course. Beautiful views of the mountains and we did a sort hike around a lake a but above Rye. Grandkids had fun counting the bear decor in the apartment.

About the host
Hosted by Lance Myers
Originally from the east my wife and I both came to Colorado more than 4 decades ago. We are both nature enthusiasts and enjoy the many options for outdoor activities in the mountains. Together we have traveled all over the US and Internationally. We like meeting new people and sharing experiences.
Why they chose this property
Our property is rural and private but with good neighbors close by. The creek is directly behind us and is well traveled by the local wildlife which we love to observe. Pueblo is only 25 miles away for major things but we have a market, pharmacy, physician, auto repair shop, hardware store, car wash, 2 banks, 3 liquor stores, 4 gas stations and 5 restaurants within 5 miles.
What makes this property unique
The apartment is on the backside of our home and faces the creek/open space with no visible houses from the large windows, especially in the summer when the trees are full of leaves. There is ample space to have a picnic or campfire and enjoy the fresh air.
