Overnight on our way to a Notre Dame football game
My son and I absolutely loved this place! A quiet, convenient neighborhood and such a cute, quirky place! We loved the historic feel with modern conveniences. We'll definitely stay again when in the area. Plus, close to Spudnut Donuts!
This fit our needs perfectly. It is an old house, so expect creaky, uneven floors, but it was set up with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is only a three minute drive to downtown Berea, where we enjoyed the local restaurants and Coe Lake. Very reasonable drive to Cleveland and Akron.
The place was great. We wished we had time to stay longer. The picture we saw of the house did not do it justice.
One thing we had issue with was that the second bedroom now has a double bed and not 2 twin beds. My brother slept on the couch, which he said was fine.
I loved the eclectic and yet tasteful decor. It's an old house; the wood floors are creaky and the electrical outlets are sparse but I found that added to the charm. The small touches made it more special from the reading nook with the antique 3-D picture viewer and the well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and the Eastland Inn Restaurant and Tavern, both within walking distance. The only complaint is that the place needs a good sweeping and dusting. I forgot my slippers and was constantly wiping hair and grit from the bottom of my feet. I would stay again.
