We came to the area for the stargazing and the lodge exceeded our expectations. Location was great, and it was comfortable, roomy, and well-stocked. I'd be happy to stay here again.

What a cozy cabin! Perfect for a weekend of state park visits. We traveled from Pgh and were sad to only be there for two days! Looking forward to a longer stay, maybe in the winter! Excellent hosts, everything accessible, clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Sarah, we are so glad the weather cooperated for your stay at Phoenix Lodge and you were able to get in the area state parks! You certainly need to come back in the winter and THE fall!! The leaves are so beautiful. We look forward to you next visit! Safe travels.
We had a fantastic stay at the cabin. Extremely clean, terrific amenities, not far from route 6, local shop n save and state parks. Cabin is perfect for stargazing and cookouts. Local maple farm fun addition to state parks with hiking and biking. Can’t wait to come back with atvs. Loved our time there, sad to go back to reality!

Holly, your stay sounds amazing! We are so glad you enjoyed everything about Phoenix Lodge! We look forward to you booking your next relaxing getaway soon!
Beautiful property, no oven, but compensates with an air fryer and toaster oven. The lawn was a little long when we were there, however it didn't deter us from using the firepit or anything, we were just worried about ticks. I really liked staying there, it was quite enjoyable and I would come back again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Phoenix Lodge! The fire pit area is so nice there, thankfully the weather cooperated for you to use! Thank you for sharing your thoughts as we are always looking for ways to best accommodate our guests. We look forward to hosting you again.
We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful cabin. We went to Cherry Springs stargazing, but had the same wonderful view (and much more comfortable seats) from the fire ring area. We heard coyotes and turkeys. There was a deer in the front lawn Saturday morning. We, also, went on the Ole Covered Wagon tour and went shopping in Wellsboro. I enjoyed every minute on our relaxing weekend.

Beautiful home
We were looking for a place close to a Dark Park and remote so that we might view the night sky, it was both. The lodge is lovely but not practical for multiple people, in my opinion. We had a big problem but were refunded a night's stay. The management returned calls promptly.

Hi Sherry,
Thank you for staying with us at Phoenix Lodge. While some aspects of a home are out of our control, we do all we can, in our power, to make things right. Now that the issue has been remedied, we feel confident a return visit would be much more pleasant for you if you choose to return. Best wishes!

Sabinsville,PA stay - Phoenix Lodge
Property overall very clean. Gas Fireplace didn't work and calling someone didn't help either. The Gas grill had a burner not working because the controller was broken. Coffee maker didn't come with instructions and only because we had seen a similar coffee maker in our past did we figure out how to use it. None of the accent candles they had put out were working. One of the porch lights was out and no driveway markers existed. We realize that we prefer Premier Properties and not to pleased with MVR as a property company. They charged our account 1 day before due and never responded right away to our questions, with us having to call VRBO to understand what occurred. We've never had an issue receiving an email for our next payment with anybody else we've stayed with and couldn't get any info from MVR. The person at MVR had no clue how to explain the payment process due to MVR's reservation system. Check out time was 10:00am should be at least 11:00am. The last straw was the cleaning person arrived before 10:00am and we were running about 5 minutes behind schedule cause making sure everything was cleaned/washed. Was not friendly in the least. We've stayed at multiple VRBO locations and never had challenges like these.
